I voluntarily gave up my Star Wars fan card in 1999 after witnessing the horror of The Phantom Menace.

I asked for it back when Rogue One came out, but they said it was only on a loan basis because they assured me more horrors were on the way.

Oh boy, they weren't lying.

Dunno if it was the worst episode but breathtakingly bad. Careens and lurches along, indifferent to any sort of pacing or common sense, and so
cheaply shot they might as well have had spacecraft hanging off visible wires. Ewan seems to have his face fixed in a perpetual anxiety attack.
I need to rewatch BOBF as sort of a brain cell purge. At least we had the spinning guy instead of this lifeless mess.

Why didn't the Empire just wait outside for the docking station roof to open then blast the ship to smithereens?
Also why does everyone now stabbed by a lightsaber in the stomach feel fine not long after? Maybe they should have waited just a bit longer before cremating Qui Gon.

Why didn't the actors hand their scripts back and walk out before filming started?

apparently flesh is more resilient than storm trooper armor. we've seen a lightsaber bounce right off of it. tala lived way too long compared to some troopers getting nailed by a blaster bolt

im more curious why they didnt just have tie fighters drop by to say hello.
