Anyone except for Doug Jones would look puffy next to Bruce Spence.Just a teaser trailer, but that GI design definitely stands out..not sure what they did there, he looks so damn puffy.

He would’ve been glorious, but he was probably busy. Judging by the voiceover, this actor will do fine.

Be careful not to be too negative, you might upset some delicate sensibilities up in here. Funny how legitimate criticism of movies/shows is confused with "toxicity".

Well, I expect nothing so who knows? Maybe it will be good, but I’m prepared for the worst. I don’t trust the mouse at all. Hopefully the show is awesome and I buy a ton of figures. Or, the show sucks and I save a fortune. I just hope Vader and kenobi never meet face to face.

For ****’s sake these Star Wars boards are becoming a cesspool lately.
If people don’t like something after watching the whole story - fine. But a ton of people here turned on the Boba show after the first episode and those same people are writing of Kenobi after a trailer. My god, you people need to touch some grass.
I will never understand why people look to hate the things they love. And I’m someone who hates all this some nonsense and absolutely loathes TLJ and TROS for what they did to my favorite characters. But for the love of God why anyone would talk about writing a beloved character’s show off without seeing one minute of it is just asinine to me.
I’m worried they’ll betray Kenobi too but I’m still as excited as anything for this show. You guys are ******* brutal. No one a lot of the old mainstays like Wor-Gar hardly pop up in these discussions anymore. Every thread is a circle jerk of who hates anything that isn’t the OT.

Lol, in the meantime Wor-Gar roasts this trailer in the movie section. Probably he isn't here because he isn't buying any of this stuff anymore.
We all hyped up the BoBF and look how that turned out. Amazing how people will defend an inferior product while another branch of the company is on their 29th movie and 5th D+ show. I would say at least the Inquisitors are new, that they are for live action, but have adapted their animated looks badly. Not sure how you screw up a Thrawn, cause honestly that's the only figure I need from SW for the rest of time.

It didn't take a genius to see that the direction Lucasfilm was taking Boba Fett in the first couple episodes was very bad. Fett is one of my all time favorite movie characters, I have spent an insane amount of money on Fett collectibles, the last thing I wanted was to hate a show based on him. But I'm not going to lie or delude myself into liking a terrible product. Unfortunately BOBF sucked beyond what I ever imagined it could. It's not hating, it's called being honest.
And before someone repeats some tired old phrase, I absolutely loved the first two seasons of The Mandalorian. So it's not an aversion to new content if the content is done well.

At the end of the day, this is art, not science. People are entitled to their opinion but yet some are attacked if they enjoyed BoBF. I think if you come visit this forum enough, you know who hate BoBF and you see their hate posts almost every single day. Personally, if I dislike something enough, I just move onto things I enjoy.
I'm sick of these toxic posts. Bringing this kind of negative criticism to Star Wars makes me wish there was a mod to remove posts like these. Boba Fett was in excellent shape and brought transformative change to Tatooine dammit!
I want Kenobi to be good so that some folks will begin to get over what happened to BoBF, maybe. I had problems with BoBF myself, and not a few of them. Yet if there is a season 2 - or, more likely IMO, if they just merge Mando and Boba's storylines in Mando season 3 - I will be there with my bucket of popcorn, seeing what they will do this time, hoping for them to delight me - but bracing myself if they dont.
I like most people here and I want all of us to be happy/watching stuff we like.

Who reckons we’ll get an updated 1/4 Vader from Hot Toys because of the Kenobi show? They’ve been making that their new thing to bring out a new 1/4 figure once a Star Wars show airs. I personally don’t want one since I already got the old figure which is beyond amazing and the only reason I reallyyyyy don’t want a new one is because I’ll have to impulse buy another if there is a Hayden Christensen sculpt underneath the helmet
