"The Book of Boba Fett."
I don't even wanna waste time typing what an insipid waste of my life that was. I could eat a bowl of Alphabets and there would be a better script floating in my toilet than what they gave us over 7 hours.
Other than the surprise Mando episodes, there wasn't a single frame of this trash that showed even a spark of originality or competence, and the paper-thin story beats were all telegraphed from miles away.
Hey......morons.....when you see that the two giant Hunter Killer robots from Cyberdyne have impenetrable SHIELDS.....maybe don't spend the next 45 minutes wasting ammo shooting lasers at them for no reason?
Also, if Fennec can sneak in and use her magic ninja assassin powers to kill the ten biggest bad guys in 20 seconds flat....why didn't she do that in episode 2?
I was incredibly disappointed that when she hanged the mayor, we didn't see a giant streak of alien **** come sliding down his legs as his bowels emptied. But hey, I guess this ain't Game of Thrones.
That scene was of course blitheringly stupid, but even if they just had to have their 15th grrl power moment of the episode.........they couldn't have saved the very last fish-face boss for Boba to walk in there, use his Gaffi stick, and say "This is for killing the Tuskens, you piece of ****" and then knocking his head off with it? He doesn't even get the satisfaction of avenging them?
I hate this show. I'll never, ever watch it again, other than the Mandalorian episodes. This was gutter trash.

But yeah this show is awful.
What about Matrix Resurrections? Everyone in the world hated that and I actually loved it, so I guess it does happen sometimes...
I love the Mando/Grogu stuff, I think they've created something emotionally powerful there - I will say though I'm surprised they've reunited them this soon. I thought there'd maybe be a season (or even two) of Mando going solo.

But hey. Logic doesn't matter to this show. Remember how instantly fatal that gut blast would have been to Fennec? And she was just laying there lifeless for hours while Boba meandered over to her with the world's slowest bantha, then the world's slowest bantha took her lifeless corpse into town another 12 hours later?
It's OK. Black Robot Jesus can bring anyone back to life.

Point 1: I've been on this board so long my first thought was "Hey, why's Oto have a picture of Wor-gar?"
Point 2: Regarding the continuous laser firing at the "let's combine Terminator, Robocop and Droidekas", did you then notice that once the rancor had disabled the shield, they all stopped firing?
I'm honestly glad the show ended up being so bad that I can absolutely wash it from my head canon. There's nothing I need to remember from it for Fett's legacy. I'll get the two action figures they make from it (Black Kristin and Cad Bane) but the Inevitable Fett figure from the series may be my first ever pass on anything Fett. RR should be banned from Star Wars permanently. His directing of the Boba episode from Mando season 2 was obviously a fluke or totally guided by Favreau who, by the way, must've taken a long vacation while this dumpster fire was being written, acted, directed, edited, VX'ed and produced... Ugh.

I do think the Art of book will be something that I snag. I can then tear out the pages of Fett with his helmet off, the mayor's aid, the vespa gang and thumb through it making up my own adventure stories using just the art. Also, I assume that the post show concept art is actually reverse engineered from the episode. It doesn't have that raw McQuarrie feel where it's recognizable but different from the film. I thought the same from the Mando series...

Yep. My head canon ends here.
Saves me money too. I have zero desire to own a figure of Boba with his red booties and ass cape in any form. I think the Mando S2 finale was the best post-ROTJ costume for him, hands down.

Yep, I built one of my life-size Fett's with this look and remember being asked if I was going to switch the look to the BoBF if it was different. I knew it would be different but knew even before the train wreck of an series aired that this re-paint was a keeper.
