I saw this Goblin design from the Future Revolution game. The more they go towards this armored look the less I like it. It's an okay redesign that reconciles his tech with his costume design, but I like my gobby more in the Halloween costume direction than advanced battle suit.
I'm somewhere in between. One of my favorite takes on the Goblin is this old 12" figure from Toy Biz.

It's got armor for protection, but feels very thrown together, like he's combined bits and bobs he found along the way. I guess that's why I dig the final battle aesthetic from NWH; it's more futuristic than the figure above, sure, but it's a nice reconciliation between the Raimi suit and something that's more chaotic.

I have always wanted a HT goblin a spider-man from the 2002 film, may have to get these whenever they release in 3 yrs. The rubber area on goblin's hip worries me though. Kinda bunches when he's bent kneed on his glider. Not sure if i should preorder him now or if there will be plenty of them available closer to release.

I definitely see them making Electro, he looked cool. And Lizard using the same design as Venom. The only one I question is Sandman.

They could make a normal Flint Marko figure and give him some sand attachments. Similar to Bucky's disintegrated arm. And some weapons, like his hand turning into a mace or a hammer. It could attach like Venom's accessories, where it covers the arm in sand. Maybe add some sand effects on the ground, the way they did the fire for Ghostrider and Hellboy.

Then the deluxe edition would have a fully sculpted Sandman statue or power pose with swap out limbs. One where hes reaching out to grab someone or one with sand falling from his arm to the ground when he rises. Not sure how it would sell. I would get him just to complete the team.

I guess you missed my Buffinator Raimi Spiderman scene a few pages back.

It’s ok no big deal.

a-dev liked it.

No worries i’m not thinking about it anymore.

It was page 16 post #317 lol
I did miss it at first but then noticed it belatedly and had a good laugh. Pretty sure I reacted to it earlier today, did I not?

I admit the HT waiting game has gotten to me over the yrs. More waiting than actual collecting. The only reason i didn't show any interest in the TE goblin was due to no Tobey spider-man. Gotta have both.

p.s. - I still prefer my TE Goblin

Justin's Collection source said the purple hooded Goblin will come in February. We'll see.

I really hope that this turns out to be true. I would really like to see that other version before ordering one. Since I have my one figure per character rule I will have to choose only one. Problem is I suspect my “perfect” Green Goblin is a mashup of both versions …helmet, purple hood, armor, menacing gauntlets, with satchel of course

With Doc Ock? So its the license approval on the actor's faces?
Yep, both in Feb. 5 days till Chinese New Year. He said there was 1 SW release to go before that, so we will see in the next few days if that is true or not.

License approval is an educated guess and makes sense with DaFoe's sculpt being blurred for the time being in addition to Covid's New Year. *zing*

This is what I'm hoping for. The SM3 Sandman looked remarkably close to his comic book counterpart. Should be a straightforward character to nail in figure form, if they try it.

What an explosive twist.

Well guess who's ready for Doc Ock and final battle Goblin. :lol
