Just got the tiger stripe suit EX in today and I gotta say, I'm a lot more impressed with it upon first opening than the brown suit. Could be the nostalgia that goes along with this suit, But I think I'll be keeping this guy, and the headsculpts from the brown suit and selling the rest for parts. I did unfortunately have a slightly extra flashing elbow joint, but since I got it on eBay (at a pretty good price to boot), I can't exchange for a new arm. Just had to trim it away and it looks ok now. Paint apps are a lot better on this guy, though than the brown suit.

Sideshow makes the UGLIEST looking Wolverine mouth sculpts and it's no contest. Was the same for last classic yellow suit Wolverine.

It's a shame because the rest of the figure looks great. Why do they insist on making him look like he's about to burst into tears? Still no angry sculpts as well. Wish they would do their sculpts more like Mezco.

That's one of the shots that gave me some hesitation. At other angles and lighting I dig it. It also looks very plasticky there.

Everything about sideshow 1/6 figures screams overpriced. How do you make a wolverine headsculpt and expression like that in 1/6 scale when all these other 1/12 companies like mezco, mafex and revoltech can do a better job? I mean look at the stand base they always use for these figures. You would think they would at least take the time to put a decal or design on there if they are charging $250 plus. And single jointed articulation in 2021...

Why cant Sideshow just make HT quality figures for HT prices instead of worse than Third Party figures for HT prices.

Whats the point in swap out seamless arms, when I can still see the seam where the connect to the shoulder??

They were able to get a nice, seamless body for their Wonder Woman figure. They should have done the same for Wolverine. Would’ve made it worth the price.

What gets me is that these figures obviously sell well for SS. Maybe its chalked up to the hunger for sixth scale comic X-men figures but SS is certainly content with absolute barebones releases for premium $250+ prices. I won the tiger stripes wolvie and Cykes for $175 each on ebay I have no desire to pay any more than that for this line.
