Off the top of my head DX MJ and Mime Joker didn't come with anything either. This is a nice figure but HT have hit that $300 (plus tax and title) price point I said I would retire at. I shall now live through you guys.

Great work on the stand and thanks for sharing the details! Seems fine without the name plate. The grabber post looks to be sourced from a HT stand? I hope to do the same.

The grabber post is from one of the Red Team branded black oval stands that I buy in bulk from eBay every now and then.

The base is just two pieces of MDF glued together with an overhang at the front, and a hole cut in the top piece for the grabber. I used a Dremel to carve the gaps and add imperfections to make the wood more stone like.

Painting was simply a base coat of black, then layers of light grey dry brushing.

It doesn't have the kudos of being Hot Toys', nor the pretty water, but I hope it'll do the job in my mind, as even though I ordered the Deluxe I'm not exactly looking forward to the forest stand, Grogu and lantern, though it made sense to get them.

Me too. But I'll wait the release. Figurewise there's no significant fault. It's the design by the showrunners that holding me back.

By the way, this portrait somehow giving vibe of Rebels Ahsoka to me.

They're not normally sold by the brand name, but I find them by searching 1/6 u stand, then look for the seller who has the cheapest price for 10.

It's quite often the same seller using different account names but with different prices.

The stands don't slot into the bases as tightly they used to, so I tend to glue them in for stability. But they're cheap. The last lot was from a UK seller: 17.99 GBP delivered for 10.

If HT are not going to give us an articulated Grogu, then they should add a 2nd body thats sculpted in a seated position, so it looks like hes actually being held. Instead of looking like shes carrying around a stuffed Grogu doll she won at the county fair.

I'm totally fine with the existing sculpt, but just out of curiosity I made a quick PS edit.
It's just a slight difference but I think the likeness can be better.
Left is the original sculpt, right is the PS edit.

Yep, just the fancy box and trays which will promptly go in most people?s closets.

And a cheap trinket like a card or keychain or something.

The TCW Ahsoka is an odd case, but they probably chose to give Ahsoka moveable eyes because her head articulation will be severely restricted. While also keeping it an MMS release to just try to sell as many as possible while skipping the fancy box.

If they don't include her padawan braid instead of a ****** keychain then its a fail.

I got out of statues but plan on getting the premium format statue Sideshow has planned since it will be the Rebels outfit.

The only thing holding me back on this one is the seamless shoulders. How do these not crack when posing? Are they rubber, because that’s not good? Has HT done this to a shoulder before?
