I think the Deluxe set makes a lot of sense for anyone who also has the original durasteel Mandalorian because that's who those accessories pair best with; the camtono containing the beskar is literally what his beskar armor was made from, and that particular pram was in the dumpster out back when Mando returned in his beskar armor to rescue the child.

Absolutely agree with your insight on the Deluxe set. This is exactly why after I po'd this set, and knowing I was late to the party, I began searching everywhere for a reasonably priced OG Mando. In fact, the only place I ever saw it at was BBTS... that recent and most random appearance last month. So, I hesitated (I know right!) to purchase it by a few hours... sold out!!!

Finally, I resigned to search eBay and found one of course, but I hope never to repeat that again! I just thought how perfect the accessories would be between these two figures. And I will never regret picking up the OG, such an excellent figure... my first Hot Toys figure!

Great pics! Really shows off how good the paint on this set is. Was worried about the Beskar shine too, but in hand am very happy with it. Am impressed with Grogu's paint as well, for such a small figure.

Light is Mando's friend. When I first unboxed him he looked very grey and quite nondescript compared to the original, but hit him with light from the right angle and that Beskar comes alive.

Grogu is also amazingly well done for such a little figure.

I can sympathize with anyone still waiting for this figure - up until two days ago I was one of them! It had been so long since he was initially released that I was hardly even excited to receive him anymore, but I can confirm he is absolutely worth the wait!

It’s definite ******** that there are day-one pre-orders that haven’t been fulfilled while people like me who ordered in January 2021 have him now. But I did order the non-deluxe which seems to be much less desirable and may be the explanation.

I have seen it mentioned a few times, I do not have the figure yet so thought I would ask since it has been thrown around a few times on here. Maybe another collectors eyes can pick up better than me any differences.

Come on, just be nice. I had no malice, I did not think the question was off topic, controversial or at the very least warranted an answer like this. And I am sorry if you think it was a wasted/dumb question...I am not trying to dilute the effectiveness of the forum.

Lighting can make a huge difference. We need to see 1st/2nd batch side by side.

My initial indoor unboxing shot is what the color of the flightsuit actually looks like for my April-arrival Mando. The other photos I've taken are outdoors in sunlight with color grading that intentionally brings out the browns more. That is to say, I do not believe the suit is any more brown in this batch than it was in the initial first batch, sorry.
