The wiring is about 80% done, with much of it in this area.

am128.jpg

Front end all wired up. The small circuit is for the indicators.

am129.jpg

Lighting test.

am130.jpg

Added the LED for the clock and a light for the glovebox.

am131.jpg

A reed switch is fitted to the top of the glovebox and a small magnet fitted to the lid. The light goes out when it's closed.

Those headlights! *swoon*

Reminds me of the gorgeous shot in the title sequence, with rain over the headlights. Beautiful.

So I was wondering how the new Eleven sculpt would look on a better looking suit.

I photoshopped the pics at One Sixth Kit with pics of an upcoming suit at TNS Figures.

I hope you like them!

so far I have 3 Eleven headsculpts ('Wolverine' Logan, 'Old Man' Logan and Jon Snow) and they all have met my expectations.

I hope this one does not dissapoint either!

I already ordered both One Sixth Kit agent figure and the clothing set by Daftoys... we will know how this turns out!

It's my second attempt to get a decent Daniel Craig James Bond figure... fingers crossed!

If it works, I will find a blue tie and shirt, and black shoes... just for movie scene accuracy!!

This is still my favorite scene from all the Craig Bond movies! This is my attempt. It's old now though.

This is either the definition of labour of love, or insanity. :horror

What's the scale like on those newer Eleven sculpts compared to HT? I have the same old Eleven sculpt as Reinhardt has...but it's a tad over scaled

Nice custom! I do hope BCS go with that look for their definitive Craig Bond version...

I don't know about the scale! I am just crossing my fingers!

Figure and suit will release on the second half of the year, so let's wait...

Reinhardt that custom looks great for an oldie... and for a DC Bond.

Added 2 SMD LEDs for the courtesy lights.

am133.jpg

The lens is a piece of shaped acrylic rod.

am134.jpg

Used a chrome marker to finish off the bezel.

am135.jpg

Wired up the rear lights. Wiring is about 90% complete.

am136.jpg

Most of the wiring is in the centre console, as this is where almost all the switches are. The lack of room is causing a few electrical gremlins.

am137.jpg

Testing the newly wired back end. Reversing lights activated by the rear wheel.

Thanks! Will be interested in upgrading based on how this new suit turns out. Would love an updated DC headsculpt from Casino Royale too. The new one is good but his hair is different.

Marineboy - your custom is absolutely bonkers amazing. I love seeing all your updates.

yes the hairstyle is too long for what we are used to see on screen for DC Bond.

But I couldn't resist. :rotfl

Started work on the window frames. I cut a piece of thin plasticard to match the door opening. The masking tape is placed on the edges to maintain a slight gap, to allow for paint buildup. I didn't do this on the Esprit and it created a lot of problems later on. Square section plastic tubing is glued around the edge, with a brass rod inserted inside for strength.

am140.jpg

I also add u-channel rod to hold the glass. Once set, i can cut away the supporting card.

am141.jpg

Gently bend the frame to add a slight curve to the glass.

am142.jpg

Tape the completed frame to the car and close the door. Glue the frame ends to the door.

am143.jpg

Reinforce the glued joints with more plasticard, and it's done.

am144.jpg

Added more detailing to the underside of the bonnet as well as a small light.

am145.jpg

Making the bonnet release mechanism. There are 2 sprung metal catches which engage with pins on the bonnet.

am146.jpg

The mechanism is attached to the bodywork.

am147.jpg

The 2 pins locate into the guides, just as on the real car.

am148.jpg

Pushing on the opposite ends of the catches, releases the pins.

am149.jpg

A sliding bar, pushes the central block outwards.

am150.jpg

The final lever is mounted next to the driver's footwell. I will cut this down, once the surrounding trim is made. This mechanism was the last tricky part to make.

am151.jpg

Finished off the rear trunk. With all the building in this area done, i could finally join the top and bottom halves of the rear bodywork together. They were screwed together temporarily to allow access.

am152.jpg

Detail of the rear latch mechanism.

am153.jpg

I had to fit a larger, hi-torque servo motor to operate the sunroof more reliably. I also added a microswitch to activate the trunk interior light.

am154.jpg

Made the mirrors.

am155.jpg

These can move and fold just like the full size ones.

am156.jpg

Added the sunvisors. There are just a few interior pieces to make now. Most of the fabrication left to do is on the underbody and the engine bay. I won't spend too much time on either one.

am157.jpg

Added 2 microswitches in each door for the interior lights and door warning lights. All of the wiring is now complete.
