Agreed. This Sonar suit is the perfect evolution between the Batman Returns suit and Batman Begins suit.

Maybe, I think the glossy black would definitely stand apart from the Keaton suits. The sonar suit is cool just very shiny, almost like he's showing off. Which doesn't seem like batman. But then again nothing about the Schumacher films is batman lol

Is it just that you can only take 1 Schumacher nippled Batman figure, you don't like Clooney, or was it that B&R just over-Schumacher'd for even Schumacher? No Fat-Girl for you either?

I think DiFabio is referring more that the Begins suit has a lot of design similarities with the Sonar suit when you look at them closely. Things like how the cape connects on the shoulders, the chest shape and the more angular/armour style of it all.

Knew these would eventually be released. Preordered Batman. Not sure about Robin. Lol. Originally, I was on board for both, but....SMH...once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

So, here’s the thing. Let’s assume for a second that Hot Toys continues with Schumacher figures. There is an “order” to all this. If Hot Toys had just come out with a Clooney and nothing else, no, I wouldn’t have bought it. Now that they’ve gotten their feet wet so to speak, this is what would get me to go all in. Here’s the order.

- Sonar Batman (would have always gotten this, my first choice for anything Schumacher) ✓
- Robin (gotta have Robin with Batman) ✓

- Riddler
- Panther suit Batman
- Two-Face

- - - - ALL IN NOW - - - -

- Arnold Freeze
- Clooney suit 1
- Robin suit 1

That’s it. That’s all I would personally buy. No Batgirl, no Bane, no Ivy. No Ice Armor suits for Batman and Robin. So for me to get a Hot Toys Clooney Batman, Hot Toys would have to make Riddler, Two-Face, Kilmer Batman 1st suit and Arnold.

Yup, exactly.

The Begins suit is very similar to the Sonar suit. It’s basically it’s father. The absence of the yellow/gold oval, a large bat on the chest, the tech armor look (as opposed to the organic muscles), from a design perspective, the Begins suit is this one’s logical successor.

Also helps that Bale wore it.

Then I’d probably just get Freeze honestly.

Even though I don’t like Batman and Robin as a movie, I think an Arnold Freeze would make for a great display. The armor, the lights, the freeze gun, I think it would be awesome. More than enough to “represent” the movie.

I really like Robin’s red and blue “Nightwing” suit, but I’d need Riddler, Two-Face, and Freeze before ever considering them. Besides, one Robin with a huge **** on a shelf is enough. I don’t think my room can handle two.


How about you. If the next Batman release is Clooney, would you get it?

1st and 2nd can be one figure. Only difference is the hat and the jacket. To me, that look is iconic. Really, when it comes down to it, I just wanna have the film poster in figure form.

I think the top 2 pictures would be best. They best represent the character from comics to movies. Also the 2 looks can be combined. They?re both the same, except one had a jacket and hat. Remember the Nicholson Joker had different looks in the same package. The other 2 pictures seem too over the top, especially the bottom one.

Well, they're dipping into Schumacher so go big or go home. Like the "films" lol
The bottom one would have to come with a deformed headsculpt. That would be creepy/hilarious lol

I’d prefer the version from the top two pictures too. Not the glittery version from the end of the film. Also not much into the light-up jacket version either.

Riddler 1 or 2. I believe Xensation's had the question marks backwards or something. I'd probably pick up black suit Clooney Batman, black&red Robin/Nightwing, Mr. Freeze and Ivy if HT produced, but wouldn't hold out much hope given how poorly that movie is regarded. It really was terrible. Maybe a small UL company will take them on at some point.
