seriosly, do you hate Schwarzenegger that much?

Say huh? I actually think it works pretty well.

Yeah Ideally HT will make a Dutch 2.0 in the not so distant future. Failing that another company will make a good Dutch fig, like ThreeZero made Rambo.
Im thinking that because the movie industry has pretty much closed down because of Covid, that new material for HT to work on will not be so much and they can focus on some older lines.
P. is ok, just a bit of a hater sometimes. Im used to his withering critiques :lol

What did you use to dirty up the body, and also give it that slight sweaty look? Most other attempts I've seen at that are way too heavy-handed and glossy looking, but this looks just right.

I still need to get around to modding mine. All I've done so far is put it on a phicen body, but it clearly needs a lot more work.

I used some scratch wood polish mixed with some gloss varnish acrylic paint, the gloss varnish gives the sweating look. I think I might of overdone it a bit but its relatively easy to get off if you overdo it.

That looks really good. Well done.

Hopefully HT uses the current shut down of the movie industry to revisit older lines and do 2.0 versions *cough* Jungle Hunter *cough.* I see it being more likely though they do 2.0 versions of older MCU figures and try to keep milking that cow, as well as releasing more variant Star Wars figures that nobody asked for.

Nice job. It addresses the major issues. The unnatural body proportions and pinheadedness of the stock release.
I think the only thing is he is too dirty for his outfit to be so clean.Weather that too if you wish and it should look just right.

Hoping Dutch 2.0 is coming eventually and improved in every possible way!!

use future floor if you don't want to risk damaging the rubber and want to make easy corrections.

Good ol MMS72. This is the HT figure line that got me into 1/6 collecting. A classic!

I think this looks good. The Commando body really fills in that outfit.

I always felt like something was off with the HT Dutch body.

The first thing i did with the stock figure was to replace the completely inaccurate rifle (it has a rail adapter), with a Did M-16/ M203. Billy's rifle is even worse, as HT used a carbine version, and had to make the shotgun attachment comically small as a result. Replace the hard plastic boots, for cloth ones for better posing.

Forgot how tiny that original Hot Toys JH Predator was. And he's on a big bulky stand!

It’s even more glaring with the other 2.0 Predators. Sure they have their individual flaws, but the JH looks very antiquated when displayed with them. Not to mention they easily dwarf him. Alone it looks fine. In a group with updated figures or figures that he should dwarf, he kinda sticks out.

Have had mine boxed up for a couple of years now. Haven’t gotten around to selling him.

Looks great!

I was doing a google search and just came across pics of the original proto figures that I hadn't seen before. They definitely improved the Arnold sculpt a whole lot, although I kinda prefer the expression they had before. As well as the ability to put the cigar in his mouth.

It's amazing how close this came to being just another glorified GI Joe like the 1/6 figures before it. The final Dutch sculpt ushered in a new era of detail and likeness quality for Hot Toys. I remember seeing this photo for the first time and thinking I could no longer stay away from this hobby.

Interestingly enough, the Billy figure didn't seem to get the revamp that Dutch did. As a result, the 2009 Predator line represents two generations of headsculpt technique.

Yeah thats what I'm hoping, with the lack of new movies being produced or released, HT might have to fall back on some of the older movies.
