Hold the shoulder and the forearm, then hyperextend the elbow. The elbow wont break because it has two hinges. The hyperextension will force the arm out.

Kinda wish I had waited. I ultimately got the same deal, but wound up using $25 in rewards points. I had a coupon from another figure I ordered which expired before I could use it (I read the date wrong). I reached out to Sideshow and the representative was nice enough to give me $25 in rewards points. I could have used them towards something else and waited a bit longer and got the Black Friday deal. Oh well though.

Using my rewards I should be able to get him for about $150. I'll see if they release any more codes for points, then probably order this weekend.

Ordered with the $25 coupon and some rewards points. I didn't really want the deluxe version, but with the regular version sold out, Sideshow's given out enough rewards points the past month (and free shipping) to balance out the cost difference.

So I decided to pick up Baby Luke, The Ewan sculpt and his body to kit bash this look using Sideshows Mythos Obi Wan.

Yes, I know HT will likely be doing a figure when the show comes out but theres no guarantee itll come with all this cool stuff or what Obi Wan will look like. But The Mandalorian really had me inspired so I needed to do an Obi Wan pre ANH/Post Jedi Purge with Baby Luke...

That actually looks really good on the Mythos body. I'm looking forward to getting this finally. Been wanting Obi-wan and Palpatine since they first released. Thinking I'll wait for a ROTS Emperor at this point though.

ROTS Emperor at this point though.

RotS Palps is one of my biggest wants for a SW figure from HT’s. I would like it to be a DX but as long as they do 2 heads with a removable cloak, I will be happy.

It won?t work with every body available.
If it?s just the HT figure you have, the neck should look fine. But if it?s a custom you are doing, boil some water and stick the neck into a cup of it for a minute or two. Then pop off the neck connector.
The pics of the custom above look like the head is sitting slightly too high on the body.
If you need to attach the neck connector again, just repeat the boiling water step and pop the thing back on.

Absolutely beautiful.
That looks even better than I had expected it could.
In the pics of him next to ANH Obi Wan, his neck looks slightly long.
If it was a one-time photography session to show a post-rots Obi Wan, it?s fine but if it?s going to be a permanent addition to your collection, I would remove the neck joint and replace it with a shorter alternative.
I have a link to a pack on eBay that will work. If you want I can send you a link.
My current Obi Wan is just a custom(My deluxe will be on the way shortly), but I had to reduce the size of the neck. It?s child?s play to get that neck connector off as long as you use boiling water.
I used an Easy & Simple slender body, HT belt, boots, saber, head and undershirt, and his costume is a TPM hasbro Obi Wan set. I just wanted him in a clean costume, lol. Although I did repaint the hair on his head and his beard for a lighter look.
