The Death Star or Star Destroyer might be out of the question but how about a Scout Walker?

Luke's LandSpeeder and the Rancor had been mentioned before in the SideShow Q&A section.

I personally would love to see some larger creatures like the Dewback, Tauntaun or even the Acklay.

I thought... if there ever is a 1:6 scale AT-AT, its as good as keeping a pony at home.:google

Seriously, the Tumbler is probably as big as I'd want to go. I'd much rather see an X-wing cockpit rather than an entire X-Wing. Luke's landspeeder would be about the same size as the Tumbler, and not as complex.

I'm in for Imperial hardware but besides the Scout Speederbike (already made by Hasbro and it looks cool) not sure if an AT-ST or AT-AT would do in 1:6 scale. They would be freaking HUGE! The Master Replicas AT-AT is good for Action Fleet figures size. And the MR AT-AT is big, imagine one in scale for the 4" figures and then one for 12" figures.

I think some people are a little too focused on the 1/6 scale concept. You don't have to have everything in your collection be 1/6 scale -- something like a vehicle just makes more sense in a smaller scale. The biggest thing I would consider would probably be a landspeeder. That doesn't mean that you can't have part of a vehicle in 1/6 scale (like the Millennium Falcon cockpit).

I have always love the idea of 1:6 scale enviroments. I favor the idea of a play-set in 1:6 scale, in fact I hope Sideshow would further expand on the Jabba throne environment.

I guess may it a vechile or part of it in 1:6 scale, what matters is how the 12" figures fit into the scheme of things. While we already have Old Ben and Luke, in time there did be R2 and C-3PO. I would love to have the whole bunch riding in the Landspeeder.:D

Vehicles only the Landspeeder because it would be Studio Scale (and that is the ONLY reason for me to buy this).
Creatures maybe Dewback or Tauntaun, but to be honest i am very happy with my GG ones... And since Sideshow is lacking the quality like for example the Hot Toys Tumbler i would have to think twice about buying something like that.
Actually i am not sure about the whole series anymore... the quality can not compare (only the headscuplts are great) with Hot Toys. I can "play" for hours with an Batman, while the Star Wars 1:6 will go immedietly in the cabinet (after finding a pose that is not to akward...).

Ow what a great question. Well for me it would come down to space and price. I love 1/6th scale I love the amount of detail you can achieve. The Landspeeder is such a great choice. It is such an iconic craft. Here's mine.

It does not take up to much space. The x-wing front end does take up a bit of space. I would love to build loads of other stuff. A tie fighter, snow speeder, jedi starfighter, ow there are so many.

i'm definitely be more interested in 1/6 environments or elements rather than vehicles - both the size and cost would be prohibitive.
having said that the 1/6 environments offered so far have been so dear that i'm only in for thrawn so far

I think the best dio/enviro I have seen has been the custom death star Swing, from ANH that Darth_IMPoor made... so amazing

Wants are one thing...affording is another. If sideshow charges $200 for a freaking chair...how much do you think a whole Landspeeder would cost? That thing has two chairs... lol I am afraid if they make vehicles...it will be the end of Sideshow because they are charging so damn much now, I dont think they will make it back.

For me, anything over 3' would be too large, however space is a concern whereas it may not be for some others. I think if Sideshow were to produce it, money would also start to be a concern.
I definitely like the idea of "plus-ing" (as Walt Disney would say) my figure collection with an environment/ship/creature, so I'm all for them trying. I'd be on board for a Landspeeder for sure. It seems to me, any number of environments can be made for the same price range as the Tumbler. My Death Star project probably came in under $40 as is in the photos. I would think having a bigger budget and being more efficient could lent itself to some cool mini-dios capable of displaying 3-5 figures and still having a reasonable selling price.
At the end of the day, I don't really think Sideshow will do that many, if at all, and what are the odds the 1 or 2 things they do will be the one I want. That's why I took a stab at making my own. It's around 2' x 2' and it's a reasonable size for my room currently. Now when the kids are out of the house and I get their room for my Star Wars room.....I'll be singing a different tune:D

The extent of SS's interest in environments is the dejarik holochess table.

I doubt there will be anything else beyond the Emperor's throne chair.

That said, if for some reason the economy changed overnight, the only items that might get into the 'consider' category would be a Speeder Bike. I seriously doubt we'll see anything larger than that. And the largest character I think they would ever think about doing would be a Wampa and/or a Taun Taun, and that's when and if they figure out how to do a Chewbacca.
