Well he sounds like a dying fowl of some sort, so I can see why. :lol

Heath reminded me of Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon One; when Riggs is all cut up about his wife dying and suicidal. The "I'm not crazy. No I'm not" line during the mob meeting.

The voice is defintely similar to Waits' but his mannerisms appear to be closer to Goldlum's fly.

I'm not going to scour youtube for a perfect clip but the first few seconds of this one shows you a bit of what I mean with regard to the twitching and tongue action.

Wow. I thought I was alone on this! I remember having this exact same thought when first seeing the film in the theater back in 2008. I doubt Heath did draw any inspiration from Goldblum's performance, but some of the facial mannerism similarities between the two are hard to deny.

I was watching this yesterday... one small thing I was wondering.

Despite how many times I've seen this, I've never thought to look, and / or never noticed...

Do we ever see the "winner" of Joker's pool cue tryouts later in the movie?

Re: Batman Sequel "The Dark Knight" Announced

Old joke, but yeah it's cool to look back at these reactions.

I spent like four hours of my work day reading up to about a month before the movie premiered. :lol

What's scary is that I actually got caught up in the excitement. Five years removed, knowing everything these posters would soon know, and yet... the pre-TDK adrenaline was going. My hype for this movie will probably never be topped.

Tomorrow, the next few months' worth of posts!

Not sure if this was an accident or not ... but ...

Joker was holding the hammer back when Dent flipped the coin. Gun wouldn't have fired. Interesting.
