X-Men: The Worst One - 1.5 / 10
1 for the actors who are trying to give some weight to the awful script. 1/2 for the Quicksilver scene.

Rain Man, it’s got Tom Cruise in it, and he’s alright, he’s normal, but he finds out he’s got a brother who’s a bit mad – Dustin Hoffman is doing it, right? And he’s meant to be - he’s all weird but he’s meant to be, so it’s good acting. Now, he – oh, God – he needs to keep his brother but they don’t want him to have a brother and he doesn’t remember a lot but he dropped him in the bath and burnt him when he was little – clumsy idiot.
But then he finds out he can make a bit of money so they get the same suits, and they go bet two for good, one - cause he’s got special powers. So he can know what the - where the- roulette. He wins that, and he drops some toothpicks – he knows how many there are. AND he recognizes the waitress through the book. He’s got all his football cards - don’t put them out of order, don’t go into a telephone box with him – he smells, and get him back in time for Jeopardy or watch it.
Anyway, then they slap his head and get worried - "Qantas don’t crash" - so he’s got all that, and in the end, he doesn’t, I don’t think, but they were - at least they’ve met each other.

X-Men: Apocalypse - 6.5/10 - Been there, done that. 
The Last Witch Hunter - 5/10 - For the most part boring. You get to watch several scenes of Caine sleeping....
The Man with the Golden Gun - 6/10 - The ending showdown/climax was great, but the rest of the movie dragged too much.
The Spy Who Loved Me - 8.5/10 - This one has it all. Lots of action, great music, a Bond that just blows everyone away and chocked full of hawt chicks. Valerie Leon
My third favorite behind Casino Royal and Octopussy.

Actually when it comes to rating scale it isn't.....or shouldn't be.
The point of rating a movie or anything for that matter on a SCALE is for comparability...if its subjective to your emotion at the time of viewing only....well, its not much of a scale now is it?
Try to imagine only rating movies while your drunk, and never actually thinking about if the film actually stands up as good when you sober up.
With all the 8 and 9 out of 10's on this thread...I can only assume many of you are drunk. (or not really thinking about it much).
Then Empire magazine must be permanently inebriated for one thing and I'm sure they would claim their reviews carry weight.
I would give Citizen Kane a 10, but have probably only seen it 3 times. . .just because something is great doesn't mean you need to watch it over and over. I don't care for Frozen, but have seen it about 30 times.

The Terminator (1984) - 9/10
Never gets old.
Batman (1989) - 6.7/10
I enjoy Batman 89' mostly because of Jack and I enjoy The Dark Knight because of Ledger. I don't believe they've ever gotten a live action batman 100% right yet.

I rate movies based on my personal enjoyment of them. Not based on how technically good they are.
I wouldn't feel well placed to rate a film based on how technically good it is so I also rate based on personal enjoyment.

The Nice Guys ... 8/10. Really entertaining.
Double Indemnity. 10/10. One of the greatest film noir movies ever made. With Fred McMurray, of all people.
John Wick ... 7/10. Solid revenge movie. Cool fight scenes.
Illegal (1955). 8/10. Edward G. Robinson courtroom movie. I've been trying to watch some old stuff on TCM. I liked it a lot.
The Man from UNCLE. 8/10. Felt like one of the Connery Bond movies. Really stylish spy movie, and interesting to see the genre kicked back into the 60s. Didn't actually see the last half hour (I fell asleep ... not a commentary on the movie, it was late), but I really liked the rest. I hope they make a sequel.
