New to this whole helmet world since i mostly collect action figure and a couple of statue.. but I'm always enjoy and want a ROTS Vader helmet for my collection... It's the movie that really an origin of Vader and being that is Mark I and love the whole silhouette, shape of the dome, sleekness and all... can anyone help me to direct which prop maker who did the best non licensed ROTS Vader helmet?

Today, except the Master Replica which is now untouchable, I don’t know any prop who made this.
But with the upcoming Obi Wan show, something could pop up in the next months…?

Lol great memory. This may sound silly but I’m thinking of getting a JMC ESB helmet.
How’s your collection going? Did you get more Vaders? 🙂

to go further in my answer, the JMC matches more or less the Bay scene where the two tone scheme paint job is darker

The Quasimodo is closer to the throne room with a more lighter grey

If I remember correctly the Quasi ESB and ROTJ paint job are identicals so except the very small sculpt differences, for 99% of non Vader’s expert they are identicals.
Even if the Quasi got my preference, the JMC offers you something different from what you already have IMO.

I agree both makers offer a different perspective on the Vader helmets and they're both good in their own way. It would be hard for me to choose a preference. Thank goodness I did not buy the Anovos version, that looks the worst imo

I just completed my first build up and paint job on a studio scale model, the Tie Bomber from Sci-Fi Studio Scale Modelers on Facebook. Painted with Archive-X acrylic paints.

Price is the biggest difference
EFX overall paint looks more ashy/overall color is lighter than the prop shop version
There are more little details added to EFX, more accent paint colors and more burnt electronic remains on outside of helmet.
EFX added quite a bit of detail on the interior compared to Prop Shop that has no inside detail. inside being as you look into the helmet via the eye holes.
There look about exactly the same at 10 feet. The closer you get more detail is apparent on the EFX. There are little additions that prop shop left out, or don’t exist in the actual screen used prop.
Can’t say i like one or the other more, both are very impressive to replicas stare at.
Hi All, I'm new here. I have a Propshop Melted Vader helmet that I would be prepared to sell. Can anyone suggest a good place to put that message out to potential buyers?

Thanks in advance
