LED Lights?

I was thinking about getting some LED lights for my display cases, but to be honest I'm not sure what to get

Is there different "colors" of LED's? If so what's the best for a Batman collection?

Are there any "side effects" to them, such as fading, etc.

I got the Ikea multi color changing lights for my display a few months ago. These are perfect as you can just use the regular white lights or any color in the spectrum or put it on to change colors automatically. This is perfect as you can get whatever look you want for any type of display and can change it depending on your tastes with the touch of a button. Now I need to finally set them up!!!

I got a 5M RGB Flash 5050 SMD LED Strip Light + Remote control off ebay and its very cool.

Provides 16 colours and five light patterns in Flash / Strobe / White Fade-change / RGB Smooth-change.
Available in Brightness control and light speed control.

It took 5 mintues to set up as i just stuck it to the back top of the detolfs.
