Hopefully. :) I've tried super glue , but it cracks open once you insert the barbell joint.

Hi Collectors. I have a Clark Kent headsculpt with a TTM 20 body. I have him fitted in a t-shirt but he's currently pants-less. Do you guys have any links/recommendations as to which pants might fit a TTM 20 body? Thank you so much!

The VTS zombie killer figure has good jeans and the DAM body they are on have a huge ass. Or there is a set of jeans on eBay.

None of the knock-offs I have are exactly the same as the HT bodies - in other words they don't look like they were cast from the original molds and aren't made from the same plastic. They're also based on the OLDER series of HT bodies like TTM18.

And I can guarantee you that body is not the TTM21 as the upper arms are very different. TTM21 has much thicker biceps that look like this:

Lots of photos here: TrueType TTM20, 21 and 22 sixth scale action figure bodies

Have you seen Hegemony's shop on Etsy? Her work looks nice but I haven't bought anything from her yet so I can't provide any opinions.

Not a knock off directly. Just a "similar to" kind of thing.
I bought a stack of them from that seller as they have the cheapest price on Ebay.
Just be aware that the hand peg holes in the body will *not* fit HT pegs. They are wider than the HT pegs, although you *can* add vinyl tape to the HT pegs and wedge them in that way. You also have to warm up that neck peg part to get it off the body, or it leaves the large vinyl ball joint part that should remain in the neck plug. It left one member here thinking that WAS the ball joint for the neck.
Otherwise, it has good tight joints and the usual movement we have come to expect.
I have my custom Falcon on one of those bodies. It is now my go-to body for any new custom.

Awesome 1/6 body reference posted by Bleau from GeeWhiz Customs. "TTM-18 Clone" is the so-called "Custom Narrow Shoulder" you find in great numbers on eBay.

Nice comparison photos, thanks for posting them, but I can't help but feel sad that Hot Toys doesn't make TT's anymore and their are so many new body's they have made that we would love to have access to outside of overprice breakdowns of full figures:(

from a business point of view, one would think that Hot Toys would make the blank True Type more available...

From a business POV, it's the opposite actually. They don't want to sell lower margin and lower dollar items like $50 bodies while competing with $10 to $25 bodies, when they can sell you a completed figure for $220-300.

They probably make anywhere from 4 to 8 times more profit on a completed figure than they do on a basic body. And even though production costs are higher, they don't spend 4 to 7 times in logistics/shipping. And many (most, all?) of their full figures would easily sell 4 to 7 times the quantity of any of their basic figures.

At the end of the day, basic figure bodies are probably just small potatoes for them and they definitely promote customs, bashes and work on unlicensed product, which are all potential negatives for HT.
