I never really saw the Scarecrow as much of a villian. I was disapointed with how they treated his character, especially in Begins when he comes charging up on the horse, flames blowing from it's nose, and burning red eyes, then Rachael shoots him in the face with a stun gun and he gallops off screaming like a girl! what a waste!

I tend to agree with you. Scarecrow was a minimal threat villain. The only scene where he was really cool was when he set Batman on fire. The Rachel scene at the end with the taser really ticked me off in the theater in 2005.

But I still would like the figure. I think I'm all caught up in Bat-mania. But the Scarecrow's look in straitjacket is pretty cool...and I think he'll look excellent on the shelf (if not so excellent in the movies).

I heard through the grapevine that Sovereign Studios is very close to completing the straightjacket, like days away. Shawn said he just has to sculpt and cast the mask...

HT is done with TDK line for the forseeable future.

i hear they said something like "There are no new ideas for the line, for now..."

which makes me think they may come back to it later but right now, they're catching up on other projects

they must know that fans are willing to purchase and make them some extra doe
i mean, TDK line seems to be as popular and expansive as their Pirates line
they made a figure of Keira Knightly, who's a useless character

they have to have some ideas towards a Dr. Crane or perhaps even Gordon
at least those characters are actually WORTH producing


unless they said that quote to tickle the fanboys and girls

HT is done with any and all TDK/BB figures for now; I believe. I don't expect any more figures until the 3rd film is made. Which is fine with me, these DK figures will be all I can afford for now .

I may reflect later and think woulda,coulda,shoulda.......but at the moment, I'm awaiting the majority of the line new suit DK, BRJ and Harvey Dent.

I really hope their not done. I think a lot of people are Batman'd out, but I hope they still do Scarecrow and Gordon. If they wait a year seems like the hype will be over and chances get slimmer. I just want a complete set from HT.

well most people are just hoping that Hot Toys is taking a quick breathier
before getting back to the line
since i read what people are saying, they'd love to have the figures
but they want to keep up with what's been released so far

I just wish HT would make some figures based on earlier movies. Now admittidly I personally am not a super huge fan of the Burton/Schumacher films (though I did enjoy the first Batman) but I mean HT's gotta know that a Keaton Bats or Nicholson Joker are a gold mine and both are figures I wouldn't mind investing on. Especially a Nicholson Joker.
