Iron Man 2 could've used more of this ha

I always feel like that scene is too short.

I completely agree. The drones scene from start to finish was decent, but then tony just destroyed them all on seconds, then it took them a minute to dispatch whiplash. It was like watching a cartoon battle, and even they make it seem better somehow.

Yeah that was definitely another frustration I had with the movie. The drones were dispatched so easily it made you wonder why the movie spent so much time building them up as a threat. And just in general there wasn't nearly as much actual Iron Man action as I was hoping to see in a sequel (unless you count him stumbling around in the suit at a party, which I don't).

Looks awesome, thanks for posting pics! Do still wish he would be coming with a more die-cast friendly stand. If my WM Mk. 3 is any indication, that crotch grabber will be pretty much useless.

No doubt regarding the stand. I believe the first Diecast IM/WM figure to come with the crotch grabber (the flimsy ones shown, not like Diecast WM Mk. I) was the AoU WM Mk. II (which is, of course, just a repaint of the IM3 WM Mk. II, which is, of course, just a repaint of the IM3 Hotrod, which is of course... ahh you all know). Anyways that stand didn’t hold up worth **** and the WM Mk. III is definitely heavier than the Mk. II.

Even though they did get the height correct for this Diecast reissue, being there and seeing it in person, really did reinforce how slim this suit actually is. I have the plastic version 1, but it’s kinda behind like 3 figures so I sometimes forget how skinny this armor is. Point being (yes I have one), maybe this time, it won’t be as heavy as either of the WM’s and the grabber will do???

Broke down and ordered this with a coupon, as I continue spiraling through the rabbit hole of no self control over HT. Haven't heard anything with this one for a while, though. Hopefully it's still on track to release in Q1, but I'm learning to expect at least one push-back on these.

Any update on this from anywhere? My last payment is scheduled for Jan 5th so I'm expecting the delay email any day now.

I'm curious too...this board has been surprisingly quiet...
I think the MK 6 scheduled to come out around the same time kind of made people forget about this armor. Which is ashame because while I am pumped for that one, this armor is one of my favorites even with its short appearance in the film.

Just got mine also, pushed to 2/05/18. Since it hasn't come out overseas yet I expect another delay come next month. But I would love to be wrong. Haha

With the recent early releases of many figures that I want, this is a welcome delay.
