I saw you post...what...a few times? Where were you when it was all bull____? The mods are already getting too close to me, and I frankly dont want to deal with them.

Pssh, wait 'till I bring out Magnum. It might just blow you all away.

Every single pic you'll find of Berserker shows his armor and Bio is brown/copper.

Trust me, there's no black. At all. On any part of the armor or Bio.

:lecture

I dont want to argue but it still seems more black than brown to me.
Yes, I see the brownish element, and yes I see the copper coloring and the copper corrosion color. But shadows or not, if thats not mostly black then I dont know what is. Even if it truly is brown, then HT color seems way too light.

The lenses are black. That might help compare.

^^^New Predators (with spoilers) thread. :lol

Now..

I would say Berserker's Bio lenses are actually more of a tinted dark red/burgundy than black.

But let's just say they're black for a minute.

If you compare all his armor and his Bio to the color of the lenses NONE of it is the same color.

Not only that, here's a pic of Robert Rodriguez (who's wearing a black t-shirt) with all three Predators:

RR's shirt is clearly black, while nothing on any of the preds is as dark.

You didn't have to "run" the other one. You really think you have some kind of responsibility to an entire thread because you started it!? :slap

:lol:lol:lol

Judging from that picture it seems like black to me, or VEEERY dark brown. The color of the lenses doesnt exactly match the rest of the mask because its glossier or something. But I guess you are probably right. Still expected the HT figure with darker armor.
Oh and sorry if I got the eyes wrong. Cant really tell in the picture above.

Kinda. :dunno

I mean, I wanted to talk Predators....people didnt (i'm not talking about you. Dispite you're negativity, you atleast DISCUSSED the movie...I didnt mind you. Just the pricks who kept trying to get the thread locked.)...so I deleted it. Now I dont have to care about it any more.

Serious question fawk3s: Do you/did you think the armor is/was black because of that nickname "Mr. Black"? Just curious.

At first I did, back when the movie hadnt even come out, but I know its not the case.

For me, this is black. You can call it red if you wish.

You talking about the lenses or everything!? That's a bad pic too.. too many shadows.

Nah Im talking about the general color of the armor. I do find it brown on some levels, especially in the pic you posted on the last page, but its so dark it seems more black than brown to me. Either way HT color is too light. Am I the only one seeing this or am I colorblind?
I remember the talk about how Berserkers eyes are ruby or something, so I take your word for it they are red.

It looks black on screen. But the prop is not black.

Same as the Aliens Aliens...in the movie they looked blue ish...in real life they were yellow and grey.

I agree I think the overall color on the armor and bio could stand to be a little darker but it still needs to keep it's reddish hue. Here's a pic posted from the guy wo sculpted the figure, and in the background, you can see the reference photo he used during sculpting. The color on the actuall move prop is pretty red. That being said though, I pretty certain the prop maker for the film made varios armor and bio peices and each one probably varied in color slightly.

Lol yeah. I know I'm beating a dead horse sayng this for the millionth time but while I do like the more proportioned head and bio better than the "bobble head" the actuall movie Pred had, I'm a stickler for acuracy first and I really hope HT corrects the size of Berserkers head and bio.

I like it the way it is.

And I too see that the armor and bio got kind of a reddish brown to this black dusk paint scheme all over it. Maybe they´ll correct, but it´s definatly not this brown they have noe and black neither.

I doubt they will fix the size of the head.
If I'm not mistaken, they would have to sculpt a new head, right? Or can they just blow it up?
I know companies like NECA and McFarlane sculpt their figures in 1/6 or 1/5 scale and then scale them down in production, but is it possible to scale something up? I suppose it could be...

I'm pretty certain it could be made larger. I used to collect horror movie masks and some artist would make the same mask in two sizes (smaller and large) but both would originate from the same sculpt. And even if they did have to resculpt it, there's still a fair chance they'll make a new had and bio. How many figures has HT gone back and redone before the final figure was released? Look at the proto of the V1 TDK Batman and the final product. I'm sure some resculpting was done.

That being said, I'm not saying HT will revisit the sculpt, I'm just saying there's a possibility. I hope they do for accuracy's sake but if not I'll live because I do love the sculpt as is.
