somethings i think haven't quite been addressed

-the mouth opening of the cowl shouldn't be so square as it is on the sculpt, it's more round, like a slightly smaller version of the BB sculpt

-this also shows the thickness of the gauntlets

-the armor on the sides of the legs should be more rectangular, the HT legs are thinner and more square

-this also shows how thick the neck should be as well as the scale in proportion to the head, i don't know about you all, but it looks if it was that thick, he would not be able to look up easily like the original figure, but as long as he can turn his head and still look this accurate, i don't mind

-also the bicep armor, HT's looks really odd, it's thin and the new shoulder pad armor is shorter this time around, but they didn't fix the bicep armor to match.

-and finally, the leg armor pieces near the crotch should be nearly in line with the cod piece, on the original figure, they're huge and stand out more, but they should be nearly the same size as the cod piece
 
I posted this in the other thread as part of discussion but probably belongs here and perhaps sent to HT.

I felt like doing a little comparison of the Bale to the figure, so I used this image, pasted it over the figure, outlined Bale and then left it over the figure, and while doing it I found the chest armor is the right size, each pec piece and the overall width within the proportions of the figure. The Bat symbol is a bit larger, but not excessively much, but one thing I did notice that affects the depth of his chest and the slope of it is the kevlar section.

While looking at the 2 photos, I noticed that the figure has a strong shadow on the kevlar section of the chest armor, and you don't see anything like that on Bale.

Looking at a more profile shot, the part of the chest armor that sticks out is the non-kevlar piece that starts from the abdomen, then the kevlar area curves towars his collar bone. On the HT armor, the non-kevlar part sticks out properly, but then, causing the shadow I noticed, the kevlar section sticks out a bit more before curving towards the collar bone. If HT flattened the kevlar section back so the chest armor only stuck out as much as the non-kevlar section, would probably make a good difference.

If Hot Toys corrected what I'm seeing, from this angle, the red line would be roughtly the horizon of the chest armor, notice how much further in it would be.

You guys are very good at bringing attention to these things.If it'll help bring more attention to these things from HT and make it a better figure in the end,then I'm on board.Being that they haven't completed the final sculpt,it shouldn't be that hard to fix these minor issues right?Anyway,I hope they fix these things and make a great figure because I and alot of others are looking forward to this guy.
 
Ordinarily, I don't scrutinize as much as I am with Batman, but I'd been wanting the DX to happen so they could get these things right.

There's no 1 big thing wrong really, just several small details throught that added up, throw things off.

i just hope they'll fix it with the time they got before released.
i keep hoping that the pics we see is NOT final.
they needed to re-sculpt the shoulder pad, the shape is damn flat UGLY.
some part has been mentioned before like: the bicep armor (hell, even the bicep it self is BIG, slim that down HT)
that bat ear also a mistake (i noticed this since they released the previous MMS TDK) and now here's the DX, and STILL has that horrible ear shape :banghead



but the most important thing for me is:
i just hope they'll surprise us with a new suit made from real mesh fabric :angelsmil
but who cares, i'm buying it anyway :D
 
by saying you will buy it anyway you just negated all your requests. why would hot toys change anything if people will buy it anyways?
 
I love the light up eyes, the PERS, the exchangeable expressions, the sticky mine gun, and the cape.

I was just hoping for a much more improved suit (with a rubber covered neck) and chest/shoulder armor. Medicom did a great job on replicating the movie suit. It may not be flawless and not as poseable, but it was closer. I was expecting Hot Toys to one up them in more than just the accessories/gimmicks.

Guess I'll have to wait for the next movie for a better TDK outfited Batman. Assuming of coarse it's used (and Nolan returns).
