Pre-order is live in Japan at toysapiens.....it's sad that I actually thought to myself that 25,000 yen for Batman alone is actually "reasonable" compared to Hot Toys' recent pricing.

The 89 Batman is long sold out and is now fetching some serious coin on amazon japan. But I snagged the Batmobile brand new for less than $300 shipped. And Mime Joker was going for about $150 a little while ago. So it might be better for me to wait and see with this guy.

The new RoboCop was also on deep discount at amazon and HLJ....so maybe Japanese customers are kind of unpredictable about what Hot Toys stuff they go for?

Looks weird when photo's are taken lower than eye-level. Pictures should be taken from above eye-level.

This is the same proto headsculpt with terrible hair. Fingers crossed will get the headsculpt J.C. Hong posted on his Facebook!

Damn I wish this had the glider. Damn. That would totally override the poor head sculpt, for me. I'd give up the whole Bruce Wayne figure for that glider.

I could understand your disappointment! Me on the other hand did not care for the glider as it would only be in the box and never displayed with Batman!

I agree. I do not plan on displaying it with the glider. I am very happy that they kept the cost down for this figure. I was expecting this figure to sell for $250.

Most uk dealers have the batman/bruce wayne around £330 so even with import fees sideshow is cheaper

I know I'm in the minority but I'm really happy that I will get a chance to get a Keaton Batman for the price of the regular set. Returns is the peak of the 80's-90's Batman movies. It was wonderfully creepy cool at the time. It does stink that we probably won't see The Penguin or Cat Woman. Both would have been epic. I'm still hoping HT takes one more swing at the Begins suit but that is a crazy long shot too. That and the 66 Batmobile would be so nice to own.

I picked up the Batman only version on pre-order, not interested in the 2pack, but I'm surprised that some people aren't digging the Batman Returns suit... I actually just put my dx09 up for sale on ebay... I did not like the rubber in the legs, it looked really cheap to me... hopefully this one improves that area...

I still want the 1/4 one if it ever comes out...
