On Topic, is that shield the only difference?

Yes. Although at this point they'll probably make a re-release a Mando Season 3 version and he may get more/different accessories. Seems like he has more to do.

Although I can't imagine he'd really get more things to hold since he's got his hands full with the heavy blaster. :lol

I bet this was dolled up as an audience guage before Disney pushed early S3 designs to companies. Seems like Heavy'll have a more prominent roll in S3, so I imagine that Disney just had HT hold back a BoBF release.

Yeah I could see them doing that, and the grated-styled base is always a good one for a standard SW base imo (rather than overused sand with footprints base :lol). I can sorta see the a new Bo too, but we'll see.

Now with new shield.

Nice I can get this guy. And he's BOBF and Mando S3 version in a way. Is that also a first look at V3 Beskar Mando from S3 also? Watch that be the perfect version with usb powered darksaber and the armor will be more clean with slight chrome shine to it. Lol

Ok this is pretty much probably the S2 mando figure but with the Beskar armor from S1 figure. Ironically that's what I'm about to do with mine, but knowing HT they'll make a new Mando for S3 which will come with more stuff and maybe a DX with Grogu in his new pram.

There's a couple of things off the top of my head they could do for v3 of beskar Mando:
- cleaner chrome armor
- correctly colored flightsuit (I also think the suit he wears on the show is more intricate than what Hot Toys does)
- paint apps for the gauntlet LEDs
- more hands (especially relaxed ones, but general posing ones would also be nice)
- correctly colored hands
- tweaked helmet size

So instead of ESB Han, Chewy, and dozens of other characters, we have this. Reissue. Classic HT.

Doubt the flight suit color will change. Mainly because it looks like it will be grey in S3 from all the promotion images and trailers. So they'll probably keep the V2 suit on him for the S3 figure. As far as for the chrome paint I rather they make it similar to how it looks in the promo above (which is just S1 Mando armor) but actually give it the reflectiveness of the S2 chrome armor. Other then that your other suggestions would be great also just due to the fact HT is always trying to take an easier approach instead of making a completely new figure. Something like this (right side)

A new low for HT. They can't even properly label it as BOBF. Noooooo, it has to be from the very latest D+ show.
