Great job, Nanjin & the EXO-6 team. 43 years late, but super fast delivery.

100% better in person. There are little bumps near the waist under the tunic. Looking up there, looks like the way the stitching is folded. I sort of smoothed them out with metal file (gently)

Overall Great fig. Bad lighting does him in, but the sculpt is quite solid. I'm not sure if I have the delta installed correctly but this is what I did....

Congrats to those that got him...sold out really fast. Hadn't seen a PO sell out this fast at BBTS in a while. Heck, i got the email about it, went and looked and GONE.

Appreciate the pics...it does look good.

Admiral Kirk has arrived in New Jersey.

He looks great to me. In up close photos it looks like something is going on by his right eyebrow but in person I see nothing.
Perhaps that is an advantage of getting old
The figure also has some nice weight to it and stands great by itself without a stand, but I am too nervous to leave him without a stand for long.

I figured I would show a comparison shot of a kitbashed TMP Kirk from years ago. I used a Spenser head with a Mego uniform.
I still have fondness for that head which is more of a TWOK sculpt but the paintwork is outdated.
It also can't compare to the Exo-6 version so I am thrilled with the upgrade.

Just received mine as well and he looks fantastic, and I love the classy packaging as well. Paintwork is pretty good for the most part, although he is very red around the eyes for some reason (making it look like he hasn't slept in ages).

My only other quibble is that he seems a bit tall for Shatner, although I haven't had time to measure or compare with other figures yet.

Looking forward to mine arriving…looks like it may be tomorrow or the next day.
While TWOK is my favorite Trek film…I am in the minority that actually SIGNIFICANTLY prefers the look of the TMP uniforms.
Could be the excitement of seeing the Trek crew in movie appearances for the first time…or could be the fond memories of being a young kid in London with my 3.75 inch Kirk and Spock in these uniforms, but it’s TMP uniforms for me all day long…I’m more excited about this Kirk than his inevitable TWOK counterpart.
