I was going to stick with the formal version but now I'm thinking of getting this too. Very happy with the formal version in hand. I was leary of this version because I would want him displayed wearing the hat and 1/6 companies always screw this up. But from pics I can see Damtoys did a great job getting the hat looking proper.

Got mine from Timewalker on Friday. Love it! The amount of stuff we got for $260 puts Hot Toys to shame. I really can't see myself buying any new HT unless they're severely on sale -- other than what I have preordered.

I have a extra formal body with complete suit and shoes from the formal set of anyones interested, can easily make a second figure

After having both this one and the formal, I think I prefer this one over the formal. Mainly because the tux on the formal is a pain to futz and he's a pain in the ass to pose in the chair. The body is just not that conducive for that. I just love the look of this golden years version.

This discussion reminds me of a parody song snippet Billy Crystal did when he hosted the Academy Awards from 1990.

There is a man his name is Michael Corleone
He killed everyone and now he is Home Alone

Picked up my Golden Years just now ( I have not yet opened). In the end I decided to just get this one and use the funds I put aside for Formal for another 1/6 (ie Jango Fett maybe)

Having fun with my Godfather. Love the closed eyes head sculpt

I first now noticed from your vid Bo that the pants have a waist adjuster at the back which I will definitely have to remove somehow when I will get to purchase these figures. I think it's honestly quite odd how they put such details in the outfits that aren't even supposed to be there in the first place like with those weird pockets on the shirt too. But it makes the figure more impressive though, just inaccurate and unnecesary. Is the overcoat brown or gray?

The overcoat is grey!!

The overcoat is grey!!
It really baffles me how so many people tend to see more of the grey in "The Don Is Dead" scene. I'll agree the overcoat looks brownish grey at best, but the coat was brown.
The weird pockets are actually accurate to garden outfit.

That is a different shirt which looks to be a green color. He wore a green shirt together with the suit also earlier in the film, don't know if it's the same. I can't see the pockets when he is gunned down, but yes when he finally does die he has at least one pocket like that, just never noticed it sat low in that particular scene.
