I really liked him in the adjustment bureau. Though he'll always be papa doc to me!

They were way to easy on reviewing that film it's like they all were drinking the same hype Kool aid. I guess star wars knows what their audience wants that same , but different EP4 is great movie and a copy of that will also be great ,but this is a sequel and not a reboot. We are in effect paying for their opinion by clicking on their videos it's no longer just for fun they have become celebrities its turned in to a job and they need to maintain.

Lots of people had no issue with it. I was not in love with the film either but the retelling of A New Hope was the least of it. So I think just becasue it is a big issue for you does not mean it;s going to bother others. They mentioned it. It did not bother them. Much like most of the world it seems. Like I said I thought there she be more issues with other parts of the film but nobody really mentioned those (Film felt small, no great battle scenes, copied ANH but was not as exciting etc..) But that is hos I felt. I don;t think people or reviewers are drinking the kool aid just because they don;t agree with me. If thee is Kool Aid I would not mind having some as I would like to enjoy TFA as much as everyone else.

Plus are you this upset over one film review?? There are plenty of others. If they did this all the time then you may have an argument. But one film getting great reviews and not harping on something you had an issue with does not a conspiracy make.

To be fair I don't think it's a conspiracy, but it is clear that their personal bias was influencing their opinion their love for the franchise was clear and as such I belive they were swayed and were not objective that's what bothered me more than anything with reviews general when people say MOS was to dark that a personal taste what I am interested in that hoe is the flow of the movie does it perform well or does it have issues in terms of the actual production, story flow and acting and so on your personal taste should not be a factor.

TFA since it was a blatant copy for me became so predictable I became bored right around the cantina scene I realized what they had done and from then on I was predicting all the next scenes and that they even went to extent to tell us they know they are ripping of EP4 by showing us the difference between the deathstar and Starkiller that was a joke.

Interestingly, since people have started seeing (and reviewing) the film I've not gotten a hint of this supposed "Controversial Ending that will polarize fans" that was being mentioned a few weeks ago. Was that just conjecture, or is there something indeed controversial and polarizing about the end of this movie? I guess we'll find out soon enough. :)

There is a scheme underway that makes very little sense once we find out what it actually is, but it’s only revealed right at the very end and by that point you’re too invested to focus on any of those little details. You might scratch your head about it when you get home, and write an annoyed social media post, but you won’t actually care while you’re watching the film and that is the mark of good entertainment.

Spoiler Spoiler:

Wait, I thought everyone knew this? I could have sworn this is shown in Captain America: Winter Soldier during Zola's reveal about Hydra. I remember hearing last year that this was one of the catalysts for that character's motivation in Civil War.

I think those who don;t love TFA find that the film starts to fall apart at the cantina scene. I bring that up because that is how I feel also as well as some others on here.

Anyone who watched films is going to bring their own bias in. If you don;t like Torture porn you are not going to give Saw part 20 a chance :lol Your mood can also impact how you view a film as well as expectations. It;s almost impossible not to let it happen. Which is fine. It's just good to know where they are coming from before you hear/read their review.

MOS had lots of issues other then just being Dark. I felt most expressed those issues in their reviews. I know it's just an example you made but most of the Youtube people I listen too tend to go more in depth then the examples you have given.
