Very cool.
Would be cool if they added an atreides soldier helmet so you can buy several and give the duc an escort.
And i guess next is Momoa in stillsuit?

Actually looks very good. The beard maybe needs a little work with more subtle tones of paint, but the skin and face are really good.

Not easy to pull off a beard like that either.

Proto looks absolutely stellar. Very cool to see AUG already start to release multiple figures in such a short time frame, but I think a few of us have to be beyond priced out for anything Q4 at this point. :gah:

AUG is not a new company, it's already good enough at least they got the license, but the new item's price seems expensive than the first 2 items.
There’s no confirmation on what their third party name was is there? Someone said Pop Toys but not sure if that’s accurate.

Regardless the Dune line is the first licensed figures by whatever company this is and I thought the Paul that’s already released and the other figures coming look like solid efforts. They look like they could be on the shelf with something from Hot Toys and hold their own.

This coming from someone who’s not even a huge fan of the film but appreciates nice looking figures and likes to see new companies pop up.

Pop Toys is a good guess for this who AugToys used to be- or will continue to be as a side hustle.

Art Figure may also be a contender due to the quality of the sculpts. Few other 3Ps can really produce great, original likenesses.

I’m loving the sculpted hair on this.
Oscar is gonna be delighted to finally have his own 1/6 figure to in his collection. It be a huge missed opportunity not to have him market this thing. Aug Toys could massively benefit from a little publicity.
Oh man, I think, I think I need to order this and Paul… ‘but what about waiting for InArt?!’

Preordered Paul -Stillsuit today. Really hard to resist the other shown figures but I can’t really go too deep with this line. I think I’ll keep it to Paul and hopefully Chani due to budget and shelf space🙂

Can’t even avoid commenting on this thread as I’ve watch the David Lynch (both the regular and extended version), the mini-series (TV?) and Part One. Didn’t read any of the OG book series as I was not interested in it during my younger stage of life (call me a blasphemer if you want).

@superglue81 thinks that AugToys is a side hustle for Pop Toys (unknown at this time), however Pop Toys does outstanding figures as you guys might have known. Very Cool is a sister company of Pop Toys if anyone doesn’t know.

Waiting for Chani to be released so that so can add her into to my very small collection of 1/6 figures.

Edit: As @Asta has mentioned: Avoid the dirt bags literally. They have ****** over with so many customers’ orders. I still have one outstanding pre-order from them and paid in full. Tracking number received, but still sitting on the Warehouse floor since the very last week of July.

It's totally an assumption based on the excellent tailoring and the fact that the logos are quite similar. The best thing about pop toys for me is the clothing. If I'm not mistaken some Asmus figures have clothes developed by them. But I was just guessing about aug toys/pop toys. I don't have any real information.

That is true @superglue81.

Asmus has contacted Pop Toys to do the costumes on their figures and they are very high tier. Take the gown(s) of both Kate Blanchet (Galadriel) and Arwen v.2 with the Death Frock (Liv Tyler) for example. The details on both are so dead on to the movie that you would think that Pop Toys took those actual costumes and shrunk it down to 1/6 size. Have no idea about the costume for the Naz-Gul (Version Two) as I do know that Asmus is using the Coo Model body and armour pieces.

Interestingly EXO-6 has asked Pop Toys to make Khan (TOS) and General Kang (One of the TOS movies).

Any news on when the Gurney figure will release? I just want the armor I guess
