I want one...

Nice pics! Shows off everything :clap :clap loving the clarity.

The first thing I think when I see pics of this guy is usually "that looks as CG as it did in the movie". So I suppose that the fact HT captured that uncanny valley metal look so accurately is actually pretty a pretty interesting/impressive feat.

A while ago people were talking about how they didn't like the gold trim on the hands of the Mark 45. Does anyone know wether the die cast mark 3 has similar enough hands in colour and shape that they might look more accurate to the scenes in the film where the trim isn't there?

THey wouldn't be any more accurate my friend. Actually they would be less. You would lose the gold trim, which is accurate but not to everything...but you would also lose the hand guard which would be accurate to none of the film. And the color isn't an exact match.

I was meaning with the hand guard on. Would that not fit? Either way, it doesn't matter to me, I prefer the gold trim, and he had it in some scenes in the movie. It's just that I know other people were bothered by the gold trim.

Then it's the wrong hand guard. Just swapping the hand would do nothing. The gold is on the guard. The guard isn't the same as on the mk3. So swapping the mk3 parts makes it less accurate and the color is wrong.

And the guard is attacthed to the mk45 hand.

aside from not having an optional totally red hand guard.. what is this figures biggest flaw? out of all of the photos i've seen, i can't find one.

Yeah I'm not really a fan of the majority of HT Iron Man figures, but I'm very happy to make this my 2nd IM. Can't wait for the 46. I'm just getting started posing this. Here's hoping Feige and company figure out a way to adapt Demon in a Bottle into a film one day. Oh the dreams of big kids. Lol. Oh yeah, and the folks saying they have no intention of posing this with the blaster effects?......Well...Lol...that's just silly.

I think I'll be good after this and the Mark 46. I also have the Mark 7, so that'll be my trifecta....for now. Don't want to become Iron Man crazy. Haha.

Man it's been a long wait. I just ordered an SHF Piccolo so that'll hopefully hold me off until the big guy arrives.

One of the pictures of the custom battle damaged version had the shoulder displayed really low on the figure. Can anyone who has the figure confirm or deny that this is possible without any customizations to the joint?

I really hope I can move my figures shoulders down like this:
