It is funny, so many people were against this Twilight emo dude... and now they are analyzing the suit and face to get every molecule right for their "Twilight emo" display.

The way of Batman casting since Keaton.
It's weird honestly. When I first heard he got cast I was suprised but open to him as he became really good of an actor after twilight, good times, the lighthouse, devil all the time are what got me to be accepting and just hold off judgment until I saw the film and I was glad to be rewarded with his performance.

But we didn’t give them feedback early on. At least I didn’t. It has to be spelled out for them. Again, also a general consensus needs to be reached and support.

Not trying to say I do it best, but that’s why I mark up drawings and comparisons. I literally try to spoon feed it to INART as simply as possible. It worked with Phoenix Joker and for the amount of feedback and criticism they’ve received for Superman, I bet we will see revisions as well. Lots of blatant inaccuracies. @potatocorner4life also marks up clear and concise comparison drawings as well, and I think that if we all did things like that it’d go a long way. Truth is, is that this type of feedback wasn’t really present since the beginning for Batman. Not until more recently. And especially not on Facebook which is where people should post critical feedback.

INART kinda does listen to critical feedback, but I do think the more blatant the inaccuracy the more reason they’d have to optimize it. Also, as far as certain details, it really depends on what they referenced as there’s various hero and prop suits used during film production. For example, in the film in certain scenes, the pants aren’t that baggy like in that picture inside the mayor’s house.
I completely agree, there wasn’t a large consensus of the cowl feedback much, maybe the eyes at the end but nothing specific. I also want to thank @HyperDrive for his great work on improving the Joker optimizations. We’re all very thankful of your posts. Facebook is such a toxic place to suggest things when all people do is try to improve the figure for everyone.

There was a point where the figure was delayed too much that adding more feedback in each post will just postpone it even more that’s the problem. The cowl wasn’t revised too much but at least they added stubble and the overall quality of the release is still amazing.

Also these shots have won me completely.

I know we all wanted the cowl to be even more optimized but those details are so subtle that no one is gonna back it. I get ridiculed left and right for the more blatant issues, imagine how much scrutiny the more nuanced details drive people to give me pushback lol.

For example, with Joker’s “collar of red suit” it was clear to me that it looked rubbish. Like it’s pretty blatant and apparent imo. Superman’s arm decal thing is straight up in the wrong spot and I really don’t see why they wouldn’t optimize it. Especially considering Hot Toys got it right and most likely will for their upcoming 2.0. But as far as the more minute subtle details? Idk, I think there’s gotta be A LOT of support.

@potatocorner4life thanks man. I wish more people posted on Facebook in the manner that you talk about details and share comparison photos with us here. There’s a user on FB and while very detailed, it’s too many words. I really think things need to be dumbed down for INART and more importantly, the general community. Suggestions like this will need support and backing. A general consensus like John said.

Same deal with "Brokeback" Joker, who became one of the most reproduced and sought after 1/6 figures of all-time.
I often wonder if that would have still been the case had Ledger not died. His performance was iconic, but if he had gone on to take on countless other roles through the years would that have lessened its enduring popularity?

Speaking of wondering about things, where's Jedha's review?

I'm not even gonna judge people who are defending the HT version. I even spent about half a day trying to convince myself I didn't need InArt before finally being honest with myself. 🤣 When there's this much money invested into a hobby, being defensive of the product you bought and dismissive of the rest is a natural defense mechanism.

The HT is great. Needs a little work to make it really pop but they certainly put effort into it.

The InArt however is truly next level. Insane this is a 1/6 figure.
I'm happy with the HT but this is absolutely next level. Like my Border Collie's intelligence versus every other dog I've ever been around. How all of you survived the wait, plus all the critiques, adjustments...bravo to you. Hopefully the Batman 2 version goes so much better because the forum on this topic has been the craziest I've ever seen.

Agreed! It's one of the better HTs in recent memory. No one should be disappointed with it, really. It's just not the top-of-the-line product anymore, and I think that's hard for some folks to reckon with -- especially since prices just keep climbing. They've got to believe they own the best. They're quite literally invested in it. If they just appreciated it for what it is, they'd be much happier.
