Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi - 1/6th scale Darth Vader™ Figure

I couldn’t get over the weird look/glow they went with for the lightsabers in this series. But I am looking forward to getting this Vader and the Kenobi. I’ve already forgotten the show so no worries on my end that they will remind me of how mediocre it was Though I am tempted to pose this guy on a shelf with Padme instead of Obi-Wan…

Just downloaded the Patterson cut. We’ll see how much better the series is with some editing.

The figure does look incredible.

I downloaded that quite some time ago, then redownloaded the updated 4k version, but haven't watched it yet. I've only ever watched some reviews and have seen some clips from the series, as I refuse to watch it. Don't need it souring me on my favorite character of all time.

Let us know if it makes it watchable. But from what I've seen and read, a whole lot would have to be completely edited out... And maybe then it'll just be a well done fan film.

I watched it and they cut out a LOT of garbage, but I think it also left out some context and interactions that would build more connection between a few characters.

Surprisingly little moaning so far for a hot toys vader release. I'm guessing it is not yet in many people's hands.

Or we no longer care. Thanks Di$ney.

Only gripe I have with this is that we're not getting this mask with the rotj Vader later this year. But I suspect it will be possible to swap the heads, see no reason to operate with several neck designs on these new bodies.

It was done first and better in Rebels.

Figure looks amazing to me, battle damaged all the way. Im gonna need a real leather replacement suit asap though.

Not a lot of moaning because it's one of the better figures HT has released in a long time. Like the source material or not, this is going to look great on the shelf. I think it'll look really good next to Kenobi.

There will be moaning if they do actually release this mask with the RotJ version, people will knit pick the crap out of the inaccuracies to that movie.

It does look like you can use this head on that body.

I do not understand the complaints about this figure forcibly reminding us of the Kenobi show. He looks like Vader, only the most minor of details is unique to that show. This is basically a Rogue One 2.0. Pretend the battle damage is from “Rebels” or whatever. This might be the best Vader figure we’ll ever get.

I’m not going to look at this on my shelf and moan “oh nooooo Kenobi show….”. I’ll just be seeing a nice representation of Darth Vader, cinematic icon.

They definitely need to drop the functional light-up combat rods they’ve been using since TFA and go back to lightweight sticks colored in post production.

Glad I pre-ordered this before it got waitlisted, looks like the perfect Vader in my eyes and I will be displaying it with the normal helmet though I'll likely end up switching back and forth with the Anakin head.

Now if only I could've gotten that Artisan Anakin.

I agree for this case. Sometimes I can't separate the media from the figure (like the recent Black Adam figure for instance). But, given Vader looks pretty similar in just about all versions, this could easily be someone's one and only Vader representation regardless of it being from the OWK series.

I honestly didn't know the differences until I started modding my previous Vader figures. Before then, I just knew Vader got shinier and more cleaned up as the movies progressed

Force Unleash was a fun power fantasy game but let’s not pretend the story was anything worth raving about lol. It was the Star Wars equivalent of DOOM.

Funnily, the dx28 mask is more accurate to the rotj mask then the one it looks like we're getting so far.
