I thought you'd like that music from that Ep7 band which is also at the start of Fallen Order. That was playing in the New Republic base on a Skariff like planet in the barracks. Thought that was pretty cool myself. But OK no theme as such.

So I really wouldn't mind a Hot Toys figure of that pirate. He looks pretty cool in his full jacket. Sure not the best character, but he'd look cool on the shelf in 1/6 form imo. I'm all about visual aesthetics for Star Wars.

Either him or Moses Karga leading the people through the desert

Yup, pretty much like the other shows, takes a bit to get going. There are some great episodes in Season 1, similar to Rebels and TCW, but took a bit to find its footing. It helps that characters like Echo and Tech, got much needed character development, after being ignored most of the first season.

Everyone is loving the season finale so far from what I've read, I haven't had the chance to get to it, but I'm excited to get through both episodes tonight.

I only noticed it on re-watch, yeah that was pretty cool. Nothing to back this up but I feel a lot of this New Republic story is re-purposed from the cancelled Rangers of the New Republic show and that this was the theme song.

He’d look right at home posed next to that gold stormtrooper of yours

I’d just wait for the inevitable cameo of Hondo at this point, Skeleton Crew would be my bet.

I'd put that in a spoiler tag, some people usually have to wait for the weekend to watch these episodes.

I stand by my "modern art" golden Stormtrooper !! Love the OG Stormtrooper design.

But really didn't like that Pirate captain and those green streamers they put on his face. What was that some cheap low budget space Davy Jones rip off ?

For any fellow Halo fans, he reminded me of Craig the Brute with a bunch of aquarium plants glued to his face.

He was pretty dumb. What would any of what he was doing have accomplished anyway aside from wasting resources?

That's likely our last chance to get anything from season one revealed. Otherwise, we'll have to wait another two years and season 2 of Andor i think.

No talk about Zeb showing up out of nowhere in this episode. Pretty cool base they had there though. Very Skariff like.

I was pretty hyped to see him in there. Wish they had him do more tho. Was just a teaser of what’s to come

Seeing the Rebels crew back together, in live-action, should be saved and made a moment like when the Avengers first assembled in the first movie

like everyone else, I still can’t believe we have zero andor figures.

that said… the bigger surprise to me is that they arent milking bad batch to a major extent. compared to andor (which would be more complex to get into), they have SO much potential with bad batch just sitting there. repaints people would be thrilled to buy.

howzer, imperial cody, even wilco with a removable pauldron (for people who missed the AOTC clone), mayday .. the list goes on.

and those are just the basic clone repaints, not to mention the potential for other troopers - republic commandos (white, grey-stripes, scorch), TK troopers (white, shock trooper variant)… etc etc.

idk it just feels like they’re sitting on a goldmine that would be easy for them to capitalize on AND collectors would be happy for them to do it.

I guess to be fair they only just finished the main squad a few weeks ago, but it’ll be a major missed opportunity if they dont cash in on bad batch season 2.
