The hands custom made or are they out there for sale?Hot Toys Mandalorian V3, only the thigh plate, the knee pad and the relaxed hands were added by me.
Even if the rendering is not 100% accurate on the screen I find that in the right light the rendering is amazing.
Personally I won't touch the weathering of the beskar

Ahhh, that looks really good!I honestly think it's the safest method, I did mine in an evening about 4 hours or so. I just took my time. I'd recommend some latex gloves, the cod cape is a little oily.
Honestly the chrome is so reflective it's hard for it not to capture me taking a photo , I do prefer it clean. Like any sort of chrome lighting plays a massive part on how much it can stand out.
I think I want to leave at least a little weathering on, just in places where it’s more appropriate. Or I’ll try adding a bit myself.

I fully expect him to paint his armor in season 3.
Even simply for the non-canon reason of more merchandising. It honestly has to just be a given that it’s going to happen at some point, and they’ll have it be a story reason, they’ll put some lore and meaning behind why almost every Mandalorian has their armor painted the way they do.
So he’ll have painted armor and we’ll all get really pissed that we’ll have to buy another version of Mando, but then we’ll all buy it anyway

This already existed in what is now Legends and they lifted "Beskar" from the same source. So it's very plausible.

Curious how easy is that to move, it's not sewn or glued on to the belt?

It used what i assume to be fabric glue to glued the hook the belt and it can be easily removed just peel the cover layer of belt off and pull off the hook and glued the hook on the right side of the belt.You mean correct hip, ...right?

Gonna take a wait and see approach, don't know why but I like having origin story figures. And a series ending hasn't always blown me away so I don't always bother. I only own a few IW figs, and only the Cap from EG (2012 version.
I'll be surprised in a good way if the writing quality of Mando keeps up, been disappointed with series endings so often. Am still irritated this series LOL didn't do what I wanted, which would have had Luke show up at the end as a big surprise, vs. now that lost its punch. Bringing Cara back would help a lot.
Besides, if Mando walks off into the sunset, in the end, in theory he'd be in his old battered armor, so we could all save some money, or go cry if you sold the early versions.
I just received my processing notice for January 13.
