1/6 Hot Toys - Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - Scarlet Witch Figure

Ok I’ve come around completely, the more I see of that cardboard base the more I hate it lol. They could have just done one of the bigger plastic bases and replicated it that way. It’s basically like those cardboard backdrops, it will stay in the box so we are left with no base at all so why get this release, there’s almost zero justification for the extra cost. And as Justin has pointed out, the transparent stand looks unbelievably cheap. For a deluxe that is really pathetic. I apologise for ever doubting anyone on here.

I'm wondering if that tiara can be removed. So that the head sculpt could be used for other wanda figures.

I only care about the hair that covers the neck joint so the regular is enough for me.

We just talked about this on the last page, tiara looks removable but not sure if there is a big hole in forehead or if it is just held by the grooves in the hair piece.

I think the perfect Wanda figure can be made from this and WV. I love the WV pants more, plus the cape, but the sleeves on this one can hide joints better but it makes her arms look really skinny. I like the frayed look on her top, but it just looks real plasticy but it’s better design wise than the WV top. Frayed butt cape gives it texture that helps the witch vibe for sure.

Hahaha I agree, however I was thinking of using the MOM headsculpt on the WV body and then using plain black pants. I have the WV pre-ordered and considered canceling it for this MOM version but decided against it.

As I have said before, I am a one figure per character collector (still hanging on) so I try to have the one version that is to me the most representative/definitive.

I think the new MOM headsculpt is phenomenal and the costume is very cool looking but it is a bit too “dark” to be my only Scarlet Witch. Aside from providing a great likeness, the MOM headsculpt also conveys a level of severity, complexity and danger that the WV sculpt does not So I am thinking the perfect version for me would be the MOM head on the WV body. I like the idea of plain pants just bk I think the WV pants have a little too much going on (too busy) for me.

So ultimately I would want my only Scarlet Witch character to look like the picture that Vicktor provided above …

Thanks! Go for it. It's a fairly easy custom. I had the white shirt custom made and I bought the pants online from a local shopping app. For the body, I used a Black Widow body and connected a stock female body for the legs.

How's about a MoM jeans Scarlet Witch?

Yeah the deluxe base as is, is pretty poor - the cardboard looks cheap as does the plastic stand.
They need to upgrade the quality MASSIVELY for this to be a selling point - also they need to include the standard base.
A pity as I REALLY wanted to pose Wanda in the crossed legs pose with the candles and darkhold.

My biggest issue is that she has absolutely no expression. It doesn't suit this version of the character at all.

If HT make a concept art SW, it's a nice match for undead strange

Hot Toys screwed us again. This got pushed back to April-June 2024. Here we go again with Wandavision Wanda. Waiting forever. This better come out incredible.
