LOL.....I was so distracted by all the other suck I completely forgot the establishment of the "Jedi Underground Railroad."
Damn, Disney sucks so bad.
Hallelujah. My sentiments exactly.
I've liked about 5 or 10 minutes of this, and it was the scenes that showed Obi Wan doing what I always thought he did all those years. The scenes of him working incognito at the outdoor sushi plant (gross.) Coming home to his modest hovel and having a lonely meal. Keeping an eye on Luke from a distance. I liked that. But that's obviously too boring to stretch into even a movie, let alone a TV series.
I haven't seen much else to like. I had really high hopes from how it started though.
That's what it should have been. A moody, depressing, atmospheric character study like "Manchester by the Sea." Could have swept the Emmys.

This series so far has felt really unnecessary. None of this has been engaging enough to justify the whole thing.
. Even the main theme by John Williams falls kinda flat, reminds me of Spider-Man PS4 music at times

I still have yet to watch this (sticking to my guns in waiting till it's over), but find it odd those defending Obi-Wans disconnect with the force. His sole reason for exiling/hiding himself on Tatooine is to watch over/ensure Luke's safety. In order to do that, one should be in the mindset of staying in top peak performance. For that eventuality where something may go down and Luke may be found. That was/is his mission. He's dedicating his life to protecting Luke. Why would he give up on the Force knowing there may come a day when he needs it to protect Luke?
That doesn't make sense. And again out of character for someone like Obi-Wan. It's not like in TCW where Ahsoka turned her back on the Jedi order and walked away. Obi-Wan is protecting Luke in hopes the Jedi Order may still prevail and be restored in the future. If Luke is indeed able to take down Vader & The Emperor.

If Obi-Wan has that Republic communicator thingy that is a direct line to Bail Organa, how come in ANH Obi-Wan didn't just use it to call for a ride from his friend, Bail?
Instead, he risks discovery multiple times to hire a dangerous mercenary to take him.

The CGI in that scene looked like a video game. Didn't look real at all.

Same reason they couldn't walk around that small bonfire to arrest Kenobi. It's not something clever, it's just that Lucasfilm is largely run by buffoons.
Whew….plot points and acting ieeeeeee. It has moments its good and others that are so cringe….mixed bag of googly nonsense…

And there's some smart people here that seem to like it. Amazing what people see when the truth goes against their desire.
'Rushed' is the absolute kindest word I could use to describe this show.
