Kinda looks like the SS head
Yeah there's definitely something off with the head shape. Eyes are too big and ridges under the eyes are far too sharp. And the face should be narrower around the mouth as well.

Eh.... I waited this long, whats a couple more years for the ANH 3po

One step away from the golden ANH version. Just a repaint. Fingers crossed.

I prefer the ANH version, too.

But the weathering on this one is really outstanding

I love my OT R2. But it's too clean to pair with this C3PO...

HT Artoo is such a nice figure that I might get the AOTC to have a grubby version, but I don't need all those attachments for a third time!

As for Threepio paving the way for an OT version, why did it have to be diecast? It adds nothing but weight. The Tamashii is so heavy it limits where I display him, so he ended up on the bottom shelf of a Detolf.

Whereas the nice, light Sideshow Threepio is perfect anywhere, including Jabba's throne.

Unless by 'Diecast' HT merely means a few bits of metal here and there as a selling point to those who value toys by weight?

How much does the Tamashii weigh?

How much does the Tamashii weigh?

I just weighed him: 1078 grams on his lightweight base.

I put HT ANH Han on the scales while I was there, and he was 442 grams on his stand.

So the Tamashii is almost two and a half times heavier than a regular HT.

Sideshow's Threepio (on a classic black oval base) is 320 grams.

Iron Man's/Men are less than 50% diecast, although even some of those are over 1kg. I think the same will be true of 3PO. Is the Tamashi not 100% diecast?

His hands are plastic, and I think the central section with the wires is plastic too.

HT's Iron Man figures are probably bigger and chunkier overall.
