So it's safe to say we won't let the dream die and this thread?

Actually, I think Wor-Gar just gave it the kiss of death. :lol

You know, I was a huge proponent for Tarkin -- rallied on ridiculously for years -- and it finally happened. Same with Krennic, and I really didn't think we'd see that one. Yet, it looks like he's coming soon. Been going at it for the Death Star Trooper too... so I have a good feeling about that one now.

And of course, I've been at it for this one as well. Much bigger, much more unlikely, I know... and yet, it is shown at shows and now in an HT promotional video. All I can do is continue to rally forth and hope my wishes are one day granted. I'm not a huge SpiderMan fan nor do I have a large Marvel collection, just a few key pieces mostly of figures I thought were so well done at the time that I just couldn't pass them up. But this potential figure just fascinates me, gets my imagination going, and would look spectacular perched atop a display cabinet or strung up high soaring across the ceiling. I can't imagine anyone would gaze at my display and not comment on The Vulture. So I must march on... dedicated to the fight...

But who knows, once I see the price I might not even buy it. That would teach me. :lol

I think you just want it because HT won't release it. It's just like anything else in life, we want what we can't have!

Just so everyone knows I talked to the videographer for the hot toys videos(im actually in the 8 min one haha) at sdcc and he had already recorded the in studio stuff prior to the event. So the footage unfortunately isn't quite as up to date as it would seem.

Really do hope we end up getting that vulture though.

One-sixth collecting is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

(Why yes, I did just quote from the PT.)

Wor, I need you to turn your abilities to Pfeiffer Catwoman. Use your anger! Or whatever it is you err ... use.

I thought the shot of Vulture's wings being painted was just art department/prototype glamour footage, not a strong indicator in and of itself. But if they made Hulkbuster twice, I don't see this as difficult for them.

I would love to complete my Burton Batman line with a Penguin + Catwoman. Have some terrible bashes I did from 2005... desperately need upgrades worthy of the shelf. Been hoping for those for near 20 years.

I’m gonna keep campaigning for this too. Krennic and the Tomashii R2 were hopes i kept alive for years. I’d gladly pay over $400 for this and hope HT comes up with the goods!

File this under keeping hope alive: I was looking at a video of Hot Toys figures from 2018 SDCC and noticed something that previously I didn't pick up on. It may be nothing, but the Vulture figure has a U.S. number (903732) assigned to it. You've probably noticed this number on the brown shippers from HT in addition to the MMS number. Anyway, I went back and checked a few other figures that have been shown but not released - namely Crossbones, Yellowjacket, the Outrider and Corvus Glaive. Of the 4, the display cards for Crossbones and the Outrider showed 'TBD' for the U.S. number, I couldn't find one for Yellowjacket and CG has one (903728). Could this mean that Vulture & Corvus have a better chance of eventually being released?

Not sure, but hope is hope.

I wonder what the hell that number is anyway? Some sort of project number? Just an ID number?

I'd say if we don't get this by Spiderman 2, then it probably got ditched as too costly to deliver.

The one thing that keeps me believing this will still get made is that is showed up so late after the movie’s release. I thought perhaps HTs was waiting for the tarif showdown to shake out, but they’ve put other large pricey figures up for order like Hulkbuster’s second run and the HOA. I’ll stop believing I will get the chance to order this when SDCC 2019 happens and it’s not there or up for order yet.

Yeah didn’t they prove timing doesn’t have a lot to do with it after the Krennic release? [emoji1696][emoji1696]

I love to come in here and see all of the hope for this thing to be released. I hope you guys are right, but I'm not so convinced. I knew the moment I saw it that there is no way they're going to produce this figure. I hope I'm wrong.

This figure looks great, but what I'd really like the know if the wings are foldable in a way so that takes up less space, kind of like how Falcon folds his wings in the Civil war scene when he is shielding Wanda.
