While both WW and BP were definately protected by the hollywood based media companies and given additional critical praise due to their female/black foundations AT LEAST they were decent enough movies to absorb the backlash they were going to receive.

It’s not like they’re horrible movies to begin with where the media support would’ve come off as laughable.

I tried telling Feige/Kennedy that they’re upsetting Spazz/Snikt/Crows and a few others on here but they keep hanging up on me lol

All I heard was laughter and they muttered something about being worth billions.

Remember how they tried that with Ghostbusters? Lol

i was never disputing that. i have never said anything about that. i have repeatedly said how i understand for the black community this is a huge moment.
thats my point still, the movie is doing so well because of the political aspects, ( diversity, black representation, strong women, fighting the oppressors) i very well acknowledge why this movie is so important to the black community.
