Yea. The one on display had a suicide squad stand with batman on it. So I think we will see it.

I don't have him in that pose anymore, but I have a few pics of other angles. I'm not good at explaining, I tried to pose him in a S curve as best as the figure can do it. I have the legs and knees a little wider than shoulder width apart. The ankle joints are pretty sturdy, so it can hold the pose without tipping. The waist/torso is slighty twisted and leaning left. The shoulders are pushed back. I used the eyes that have him looking left, I have the head leaning forward/down, slightly turned left and tilted right. Then I futzed with the cape and belt, and then finally, most poses only look good if it is photoed at the right angle.

I sometimes try to do the pose myself to fine detail it, like hand, arm positions, etc. Of course, a lot of HT figures are limited by their costumes, and choice of hands, lol, so have to work with what you got. I would be careful, I learned my lesson after tearing the suit of my MOS Supes putting him in some extreme poses. Just go slowly and be gentle, especially when trying to move/turn joints under the suit. Thanks for liking the pose, trust me, you don't know how much time I waste trying to pose my figures. It takes a lot of futzing to get a pose the way you want it.

thanks for the reply. ill give it a try and see what i can do....you def have a great understanding of how to bring these to life. well done.

Yeah, the first method will work for 95% of people no problem and look great. And I imagine there are other methods to get the cape to sit tight on shoulders without the glue....some snaps like on the CR Superman come to mind, maybe a couple small magnets, etc. if you want that look.

Maybe just use some snot tape :huh

Ridiculous.
I can see why the texture of the cape can turn some off (even though HT has come a long way when it comes to capes) but the cowl is spectacular.
Tell us what more you would have done with the cowl.

Kinda late to the party, sorry...

Well, the thing is, the way HT designed the cowl, when you move the head around, the hard edges poke out in an unsightly manner, ruining the look of the figure. Alos, you can't really tilt the head very far back, because it leaves a gaping hole in the neck.
The whole thing is sculpted very nicely, but it doesn't work very well when you start moving the head.
One thing I believe would have done differently, is I would've done without that large plastic base under the cape. I don't think it really serves any purpose and it is what sticks out when you start moving the head.

I was still hunting for Nightmare Bats when I came across 'sort of' regular Bats.
A store had the version with the Tech Cowl, so I decided to pick it up. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, as it started to rain so I've ducked into a restaurant for a beer. So I'm calling this a win win scenario ;-)

Goofing around with a couple different poses...gotta love all the options available.

To those still trying to get this figure, my adivce to you would be to just be patient. Don't pay crazy after market prices (close to $400). I know this costume and version of Batman is great, but this is just the beginning. We've got plenty more Batflecks to come from Hot Toys and they can only improve on the figures from here on out. Justice League is only a year away. And maybe they'll decide to do a second run of these at some point.

The SS version to me is essentially going to be the second run of these. It'll be the same figure, just gold tarnished parts and slightly different accessories.

I think HT may surprise us with the SS version.
It is reasonable to assume they'll want to sell this figure to people who already bought the BVS version.
This makes me think they may include some awesome extra such as a Bruce Wayne figure or anything else that would prompt folks to double dip.

I didn't even consider a Bruce Wayne for SS. I reckon they'll wait until JLA or the solo film to make Bruce though, a 2-pack with Alfred similar to the TDK armory.
