Can anybody who has this figure post a picture with the original headsculpt for comparison?
And is it the same sculpt with a different paint job or is the sculpt different too?
Thx

Comparison shots been first Bank Robber Joker and 2.0.

I was a bit miffed that this figure didn't have the mask as a separate piece, but you can see why they did it. The mask over the sculpt misshapes the silhouette of the head so it doesn't really look as he was in the movie.

Even the bag is hugely improved with a plastic rack as he had in the movie rather than just foam like with the first figure. The bag is a different design too - assumedly more accurate.

The tailoring is vastly improved as is the material and color of the suit. I think someone above had criticized that the outfit SHOULDN'T be well tailored, but if you look at the original costume and the scene in the movie, it does look like Joker is wearing a bespoke suit.

The smoke grenade setup was a nice little extra here and looks great.

I don't know why the first figure came with a belt - but the sans belt is more screen accurate.

You can still buy him from Sideshow -

The outfit on the first figure is indeed very crude, but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as the lack of a separate mask.

I wish that it came with a separate Bozo mask for the figure to hold when you have it displayed unmasked, but I do think that the sculpted mask on the head sculpt looks better. I can see why they did it that way.

I think HT also went that route to differentiate it from the first release and to protect it as well. BRJ 1.0 still has value as a figure because it has a feature or two that 2.0 does not.

With the premium price that this one is asking for, it wouldnt hurt them to include another rubber mask for him to hold to. It'll prolly be an additional 20-30cent additional cost for them.

Yeah, but if HT had included a separate mask with the 2.0, the 1.0 would've been basically irrelevant as a figure. When HT re-releases a figure, it typically makes improvements while taking away some things. I think Mark I 2.0 was an exception and a ton of people were PISSED.

Actually, they didnt end up giving the normal black stand with the "Mark I" label on the V2 like the V1, even though in the list of specs its included. :lol

:goodpost:

Neat comparison, Dave.

I was. Before 'unselling' myself.

Still plan on getting this, but will wait until it's code eligible. And after the Scotland referendum, because all that uncertainty has hit the exchange rate!

Awesome, bud :rock

Just un-boxed my joker 2.0. I missed out of the first bank robber joker so had to get this one. Trying to complete my batman set up, just missing Harvey and Gordon. Have the Armory 3 figure set on pre-order. Quick pose and quick pics for yall.

Not in favour. Salmond is leading his 'people' into the great unknown, based on what appears to be a crock of lies and very little in the way of actual plans. They don't even know what currency they'll have. Big businesses are saying they'll move to England if it goes ahead, and Salmond's deputy warned there would be "repercussions" for them if they voted no! It's 1933 all over again. :horror

A few weeks ago the pound was worth $1.72 US. Now it's dropped to $1.62 US. Hopefully the market will stabilize after the vote.

Not to further derail the thread, but I read something about the banks leaving for England as well.
