So tempted to get this. Doesnt fit with my current plan for my room, but man it looks awesome.

Yeah so how do Hot Toys get the image rights of dead people, like Heath Ledger as the Joker & Christopher Reeve as Superman?

I think all the stuff about Hot Toys not being able to get the image rights etc is bogus.

Like others have said, their estate has to be involved, IF they didn't already grant the studio merchandising rights to their likeness as part of their contract, as Ledger no doubt did since the Movie Masters figures were in production before he died.

Quick question though this may be premature - anyone know if the empty DX12 cowl that comes with the armory will be 2 separate pieces, cowl and neck?

I don't think it's a licensing problem at all. I think it's more along the lines of Hot Toys just not giving a **** about Ra's.
I don't really see how that makes sense though. They've done every other villain from the trilogy it seems kind of odd to leave him out. If it's a matter of them thinking the figure would look too boring since his most definitive look is a guy in an all black suit (which I think that line of thinking doesn't really apply anymore) they could always do the earlier ninja training look he had while training Bruce. Really hope to see the character made one day. Maybe if they think he won't sell well enough on his own they could do a two pack with him and Bruce both in their ninja training gear and possibly throw in the black suit as an alternate outfit for Ra's.

U are right... And They shld do both looks in one figure to have enough sale... Its possible...

AEC has these back up again but the price has increased. To me, SSC would be more worth it with the FlexPay and Reward Points now. Shame. Would've gotten it from them if they had their original price of $574.99.

After spending some sleepless nights and having space discussions with my girl friend, I preorderd the whole set with Alfred and Bruce finally. Crossing fingers, that this will fit in my Tumbler display case, too.

Preorderd this from a Belgian Shop - 449 Euro + 7,90 Euro shipping was unbeatable and in addition I don't have to worry about customs when this set will be shipped to Germany. :)

Woop, same for me! Lacite is pretty nice no?

Space is already accounted for:

The boxes will move (around) and the armory sitting where they are now. Then Alfred will find a spot, maybe shining up the Tumbler.

That looks amazing. :horror My hope is to have a couple of Batcave set ups eventually. One like yours and one for 89.

What display case is that, mate? :horror

It's custom. Here's the recipe:

IKEA MALM 3-Drawer unit + some extra wood to extend it to the side.
IKEA Harlig door and hinges to cover the opening left from the side extension.
Replace IKEA MALM top with a piece of thick MDF that spans the entire with of the MALM plus extension.
Custom paint the MALM cabinet for two-tone effect.
Glass door cabinet rails from McMaster Carr - attach the bottom one to the table top and the top one to the ceiling.
Custom-cut panes of 1/4" thick glass to fit the height and width of your display (measurements can be calculated with instructions from the rails)
Internal shelving done with plywood and $1ea IKEA shelf brackets.
Sweat, effort, planning and time as needed. ;)

Incredible. I wish I had the room, and money, for any of the batmobiles.

The space used to be a closet - I removed the bulkhead and jambs to turn it into an alcove before starting the custom cabinet. Since this is my office, I didn't need a closet in it. Should I move, it's easy to turn back into a closet with sliding door rails.
