I think it's incredible, both in looks and timing since I've been looking for a TDK bat figure for awhile now. Definitely getting the armory with batman figure and that's it. All I need to know is the price!

They'll probably have different figures for that one... Blake and Fox perhaps? After all, Blake sort of inherits it....

I was thinking I need to get rid of my DX12 before this comes out, but in fact the complete set with both Bruce and Alfred would complement my DX12 perfectly.
My heart sank when I heard this today, and I did think I would just give up collecting Hot Toys.

Yes it did. Did you forget about the bat chest logo or how different the faceplates or the cowl and eyes turned out (and not for the better mind you).


Then there's the qs001 which was night and day. I rest my case.

Ah, looking back, the faceplates looks terrible in the promo pics, too. So, maybe that's why I don't see the difference.

This Bat sculpt reminds me of when the first proto pics of QS001 came out. I really think this sculpt will be changing significantly between now and release.

Now, I finally got it!
I really do need to sell my DX12. All I need is to get the full set, and there will be no need for the DX12.
Am I correct?

The Dark Knight cage armory is far superior. They'll probably still make it though with a lame John Blake no less.

I never like the John Blake character in tdrk, his 'I know you're batman cause you're an orphan' thing was really bad. Prefer this armory over the case. And this movie was so much better than the last as well. Now I'm pretty curious about the new joker 3.0.

HT should be smart and use this same method with 89. Re-release the DX 09 in a Batsuit vault with a Keaton Wayne (complete with either Tux or Steve Jobs get-up) and a Michael Gough Alfred.

Joker3.0 will not happen until early 2015. They have way too much ground to cover for that. If they do come out it will be a different version like a br plus cop set etc. stand alone they have little to provide to overcome the awesomeness of dx11 the dioramas, table chair, etc... Recently, I was debating whether to continue my Hot Toys collecting. With the announcement of a possible Joker 3.0 and the new TDKR armoury set, which had totally devalued my Joker 2.0 and DX12, I'm on the verge of saying ****** it, and get out before I feel let down anymore.
