Bad comparison pic. Having seen these pictures immediately after the movie, there are scenes where he looks absolutely jacked and I think the HT figures body is pretty spot on.

Better pic. But just look at the wrists here and in the figure.

The figure is bulky but it looks more soft bulk rather than taught bulk so he comes across as puffy

Even Cavil said that he got really lean for the shirtless stuff then started bulking up for the suit stuff. it's a process so obviously some pics he looks buff and other's he's sill kind of lean

I think they will tweak some things.... we are a long way from release. Either way the head sculpt is amazing! That is what is most important to me.

The figure looks awesome, definitely one of the best HT head sculpts for me.
Can't wait to see the film now.

Yeah that oil rig scene was obviously filmed later, cause Cavil was massive. And yeah there were moments where dude looked like he was The Rock's workout buddy. I really liked the film. Saw it last night. It made me want to see it again, and want a sequel.

Wow - Best HT sculpt out the gate to date.

Still think a big shouldered TTM-19 would work better but it's an impressive release.

I would imagine this Supes head will be in very high demand. Lots of potential to make a bashed Clark figure.

Wonderful proto, would have liked no neck joint, but this guy's face has almost a Arnold S. facial structure that translates well on a headsculpt witht his hard jawlines . Very nice job.

They've gone for a bit of a dirtied up suit rather than all clean and brand new looking but the cape looks far too clean and very bright, they should darken that up a bit to mesh with the rest of it

He's got plenty of time to lose weight before his release.

Seriously that head sculpt is fantastic though. Cannot wait for this guy!

If I didn't know any better I would say they slapped a Thor cape over the proto to pop the figure out.

The tailoring the cape is just bad and a far way from what we will see, its riding up his back so much in the middle and waving on the sides. A nice wine red velvet cape would be stellar.

Would be nice but i'm certain i'll replace it with a Tony Meis cape anyway

I think it's the forearms that are throwing off the arms. They seem to almost be one thickness rather than reducing significantly as you get closer to the wrists.

I did hear somewhere that Henry Cavill was a childhood fatty.

Yeah, in order to time this preorder with the film's release HT wasn't able to attend an actual screening so they went with childhood photos as a reference for the figure.

If HT is going to fix that fat body, that means they have to resize the suit, and that means there will be a loooooooooooooooong delay!

A very well done figure of a costume design I have zero interest in. I wonder how restricting that suit will be?

The head sculpt looks pretty good.
I haven't seen the movie yet.
If the price isn't over the $250 range I might get him.
For what he comes with or the lack of what he doesn't come with
should keep the price low,I hope.
I like the stand too,not just the basic black one.

Good looking figure but very chunky could not imagine him getting much off the ground
