Well I already love the body/suit, I've said that a million times. My problem is with the head, PERS and faces. If the cowl head is actually great in person I'm not going to deny it? I welcome it.

That's what I don't get. It's like the people that hate seeing other collectors complain and mock them as "haters" and "whiners" have it in their head that the people that voice their criticisms and concerns WANT these things to turn out poorly. I don't think that's the case.

I doubt thats gonna be the case.

Usually I dont panic when I see some photos from some random collectors, but when I see OMG's name on the photos, I know that thats probably 99.9% what its gonna look in hand.

Nah that's not the case at all, well at least with me. It just seems like an endless supply of insatiability with some members here.

Most of the people who are complaining bout the people that are complaining arent aware that the fact that Medicom nailed the sculpt like 3-4 years ago!

We arent asking for a real silicone sculpt with glass eye, and removable cowl with rooted eyebrows. All I'm hoping that a company of HT caliber could do now is at least do a similar cowl like medicom with their top notch paint job and i'd be a happy man. I dont need 3 changeable mouthplates. Just give me 1 accurate one FCS.

Therein lies the root of the issues people have with this figure and with HT in general. Their prices are skyrocketing, but their level of accuracy and quality is going in the other direction.

I couldn't agree more. And I think it's down to the fact that there are so many "newbies" getting into collecting that a slight decrease in quality will not appear to them, so they are still willing to shell out the total price, no matter how ridiculous it is.
I am a newbie myself, and am only regularly using these forums about a month. I was a lurker since february and made my first post in august I think, And now I have 425 plus.
But after spending a bit of time on the forums with experts like some of the members here, the mistakes become a lot clearer (as they are said multiple times in each thread ).

Lowered accuracy, Lowered quailty, results in lower expectations.

When said lower expectations are met: OMFG EPIC FIGURE I WILL BUY THREE SETS.

Enterbays will probably never be topped. It's ridiculously nice and accurate too.

Which is why I want them to do a TDK suit in 1/4.........PLEASE!

Think I'm gonna dip out of this thread for a while. I got a deal for the DX11 and DX12 together, so I'm gonna have to wait until Joker comes out too, dammit!

Also don't want to get drawn into the whole unrealistic expectations bull**** that has comeup. I will say that it is interesting how many people with really low post counts are coming in and criticising the nature of the board...

Prices are rising but quality and accuracy lowering...uhhh really? Maybe you guys don't remember older HT figures, take a look at the Superman Returns figures or even the DK Joker v1...yeah they were cheaper but you're really going to say the quality was better then? The real statement is "Rising prices, super high expectations".

Both great figures, both priced at about $175 dollars.
Compared to the DX11/DX12, I don't think we've seen $80-$100 improvements.
Yeah, The TDK Joker V1 was a bad figure, but The MMS Bank Robber Joker was one of HT best ever and he was about $150 upon release.
As was CR Superman, the supposed "Best HT Figure Ever".

I think you guys have SSC to blame for the skyrocketing prices; in Singapore, PO price for DX 12 Bats is only about 214 USD, which is about a $40 increase over the DX 02. Reasonable I believe, considering the improvements to the proportions, extra Bale sculpt, and if you factor in the fact that the american dollar wasn't as strong as it used to be.

Never knew that, thanks for the info. I think $214 is reasonable swell, at least then it is worth what you pay, I think.

Yeah, tbh I actually forgot about Kato's involvement. That makes it a little more reasonable, but still, $270 is a little high.
