And with that, I'm officially over this figure. Cool Bale sculpt, but...pass. I think I'll wait for the 12th version of this figure, when they finally make it so you can display the unmasked head with the cape on.

I'm gonna get Hammerhead instead.

If you collect 12" figures to make money you're an idiot. Buy a figure if you like it, but only pay what you are prepared to own it - don't assume that you'll get your money back on resale. If you want "investments" go with limited edition statues. They are pretty much guaranteed not to be reissued.

The reality of 1/6th is that there will almost always be a better version of a figure coming down the track. Given the prices the Original Suit goes for on Ebay its no real surprise to see HT decide to do a variant.

I think the Harness is off

The takara harness looks better IMO

also Takaras hides the bat symbol on the chest

Haha i've not got into starting to compare the harness to screen shots, will get to that at some point lol

Glad I did not buy a takara fig as I was thinking about it just for the harness and the extra suit for an armoury display

Yeah it is but the biggest thing that's off is the bloody bat symbol on the chest!

I want this guy for a first night display and that is a glaring inaccuracy

Holy crap, this is awesome. Gonna be one of the best HT figures ever, what with the changeable mouths. Though I'm bummed this isn't Ra's, OC Bats was one of my first, and still is one of my favorite figures. This is just such an improvement over that one in every way that I'm really psyched.

By the way, is this the first time HT has released the same figure 3 times?

When I first saw this I thought i'd dropped a bollock by buying the OC recently but, the 2 other mouth options don't do anything for me, neither does the harness look and I prefer Imaresqd1's Wayne sculpt. Cool for people who don't own the original figure though.

I like how the Bale sculpt's eyes are looking more straight on. So many times HT makes the eyes looking up (with too much white showing below the eye's iris). In the case of Thor and Tony Stark Mark IV it made them look as if they were lost in a daydream or crazy. I think this is so much better IMO.
