Finally got around to putting on Whiplash's pants back on. Looked pretty disturbing in the shelf next to the other figs with no pants. Overall I really like the way it came out, I think I left too long in the bleach so the black is not as much but I am still really happy with the end result.

But, in the process of doing so, I lost his toothpick.

goign to def do the EL wired thing... ill be asking more in depth questions about that soon.
im going to put contacts on his boots and give him a metal base that the current will run through, so he doesnt have to be plugged in for it to work, and you can still take him off the shelf.

here is what i want to do...


im looking for two 1 ft 2.2 mm white el wires with ONE quick connect end... is this possible? to have 2 el wires ending in one male quick connect piece?

if so im wanting to make 2 of those setups. i want to have the el wires plug into the splitter closer to his hands, or the end of the handle of his whip...

then i also wanted to hook those up to a splitter so i could run them at the same time from the same inverter.
BUT (last question) could i have the length of wire after the split lengthened on the splitter? i would want each of those sections after the split to be 2 feet...

any help you can provide would be amazing. thank you.

I'm not sure I'm following you, but I have never seen two pieces of wire attached to one connector without a splitter. Each wire has to have its own connection. You can't connect two pieces of wire without the use of another instrument (here, a splitter).

Plus you may not want the connector close to the figure because the connectors are kind of big and distracting compared to the figure. I used speaker wire to keep as much of the hardware out of sight.

Maybe if you say what you ultimately want to be your finished product I could help better.
