Re: Another Watchmen figure line?
I wouldn't mind a Kovacs figure at all.

But then we would have to explain why we have a figure of a guy in his bathrobe in our collections!Maybe some people would want Blake in his bathrobe, too.
I hope he comes with the suit, unitard, underwear, and is correct underneath so every display option is covered.

I think that would be the best way to do it. Especially considering that there isn't much you can put in there with it. I guess you could put a watch in there and the photo, but that's it really. So extra outfits would be awesome.
I might also make him a custom Mars base, if they don't... I think that would be very visually appealing on the shelf.
I think all of your ideas would be great. Like you said, he would be fairly minimal with accessories so all of this clothing options should be included, unless he is drastically cheaper than the other figures. Like $100 or less, which I don't really see any more.
Mars base wouldn't be that much different than a detailed Predator base, so I hope they go for it. Heck, I'd love to see the others have detailed bases. A Rorschach base of the gutter for the button would be awesome.
Here's a question though. Are either Rorschach or The Comedian even going to be allowed to have the smiley face button? From what I understand the smiley is only licensed for use within the book and film, hence why we haven't seen it on any of the merchandise coming out so far.
I'm all for screen accuracy but I'd never display an anatomically correct naked male figure based on a comic book character in my house. Lines gotta be drawn somewhere, and mine stops at blue weiners.
Some people have security issues, it seems.
so get ready for the biggest ^^^^ ever put on the silver screen next month.
:
It'll be a stressful day when 1:6 scaled blue wieners freak me out.
Ah, but does he not also wear the suit to the funeral? He didn't change his skin color there. Plus he wore the suit before he changed his skin color. We don't even know he will change his skin color in the movie either. It would be an all-time-low variant.
I wouldn't mind a Kovacs figure at all.
All due respect, if that is how you feel, you either a) don't understand what his wiener represents or b) shouldn't buy and/or display a Dr. Manhattan figure.
DONE! Now please go there and comment.Dude, that has to be your Facebook action.
Same here! Like Mike, I will be a completist with the HT Watchmen line all the way. I'm in for whatever they do, most likely including multiples of some. What if he had his sign? I'd be all over it.
