The cape looks really good on this pic

hk-hottoys-07.jpg

I actually think that is the cape we are getting and think that people are simply not taking time to pose it. As you can see in this pic, the cape is neatly folded inwards, then outwards so that only the lower point goes 'wide' of the body, reducing the bulk. Ironing it will help smooth too I think/hope.

My Takara cape will only be a back up, but I am still confident this cape can look good.

a 2-layered cape can never have the same effect as a 1-layered cape.

just switched my hot toys cape with my takara cape, and the difference is huge!

It is basically the same body with wider shoulders (the prison break true type). You will not get Batman to look slimmer with this body. I guess you could buy a Michael Jackson figure that has the slimmer body but then the suit wouldn't fit on well. You would have to design your own batsuit to fit the slim body. Getting the Medicom version would be a lot less work and cheaper I would imagine.

Yeah...:rotfl, go from whining about a figure that's a little to husky to one that's busted all to hell.

There's no clean images around of the full gun for reference. At this point, folks are wondering if there's any gun that can easily be modified to pass. I don't think any gun really comes close to it. Like I've said, the Aliens pulse rifle is the closest I can think of and even that's off, but they share the same geometric look.

Have a look at Leprechaun's pick. It's nowhere near any of those standalone grenade launchers. Personally, I'm gonna find a 1:6 WA2000 and cut it into pieces for a custom. Trimming off some pieces and gluing the remaining pieces together with some added plastic and some black and gold paint would make it look more authentic:

It's a very strange device, I'm sure there was some logic to the design, but it just doesn't even make sense to be so geometric and simplistic compared to the grapple gun.

Well, he needs a two handed weapon for accuracy and stability, but it needs to be portable. The whole reason it is so geometric is so it can fold away and slot into itself like Tetris pieces I think.

Good point, does make turning it compact for carrying much easier that way, elaborate design wouldn't do that so well.

So what, he just dremeled off Batman's butt and chest? Not to mention himself. I don't really see any difference, but of course, he isn't showing us butt shots :lol

no i wouldnt try that, i would however get the suit on a mj slim body and see how that looksmaybe swat out the arms from the dk bosy onto the mj slim body if possible

Hmmm...I don't see the point in dremmeling Batman's ass, but I might try it on the chest and rib area (it looks fairly easy to do). I like the end result appearance, Batman now has a more "upside-down triangle" physique. Too bad it widens at the hips, though (making it look more like an hourglass).

It also looks like he did something with the neck/collarbone area, although I can't see a difference:

I don't like it, he looks a woman in the bat suit. No offense to any women folk. I mean the slim look was only achieved in the film thanks to wonderful lighting that complemented the suit making it look less bulkier then it actually was. Making it that small just look unnatural, attractive yes, but unnatural.

seem's to me that someone just made a mess out of a reaaaaaaly expensive action figure...

Don't like it. The waist is like a batgirl...

I actually like it a lot, I always thought he looked fat before, I like the result of this...not sure about the butt either tho, cant tell without pics of it with the costume on. What did he do to make the cape hang well?

Anyone want to do this for me for a reasonable price when I get mine? I dont have the tools for it...

it looks great but now the legs are too buff u need to chop out some of the legs to get rid of the hippy feminine look someone was talking about then he will look balanced and perfect

I always thought the chest was too big, but it does appear smaller and slimmer in the pics of the modded Batman. I want to see more pics...

Did he do anything to the head? It looks great in the shots.
