She's not a particularly good actress. Saw her in Murder on the Orient Express. She was pretty mediocre in that. I bear her no will ill of course, I just don't rate her as an actress.
Personally I don't care if they make more Star Wars movies with Rey. I simply won't watch them, so it makes no difference to me.
I don't think they could any more damage to Star Wars than has already been done. Who cares if we get more bad Star Wars. It'll just add to the already big pile of bad Star Wars.

I feel like the ST will always be a huge stain on Daisy's career. I can honestly say I have no interest in watching a film with her in it after seeing her performance in them.

But I kind of feel like most of the talent out there should probably be very cautious about signing on with Disney for a film or show. Because I can safely say that aside from maybe Robert Downey Jr, the Disney films these ppl have starred in pretty much put a nail in the coffin for me to ever want to see them in another project outside of their ridiculous Disney characters they play.

I understand Disney movies are a huge payday for actors. But there has got to be some semblance of self preservation for your own integrity. These people must know by now that agreeing to star in the next Disney Star Wars film/show is going to be nothing more than the general audience simply in shock and put off by them agreeing to be in it to begin with.

There are other studios, other films, other characters to portray and sign up for. For God sake, why have a Disney Star Wars film be the height of your career? 😅

Like, I used to love Natalie Portman. Until she starred in Love and Thunder. Never again. Same with Samuel Jackson.

I would still "Finn the hell out of" Daisy Ridley.
= insta friend zoned, but ok, whatever makes you happy. :huh

It's not like Mark Hamill's career took off after SW either.
Sure he was forever famous, but other than Corvette Summer that next year, I can't remember him *staring in much of anything.

He did The Big Red one, WWII movie about the First Infantry Division's operations. I saw it way back when it first came out on VHS, so I can't remember much. I wasn't particularly impressed at the time, though.

Thanks guys! Spare time is at a premium nowadays (pretty much just workin' and sleepin') but I drop by when I can.

Oh and Jye thanks for the AV advice. I'm now the proud owner of a 98" TCL mini-LED  Not quite QM8 specs but close.
