I know it won't happen but I hope beyond hope that the Ahsoka show will use world between worlds to retcon the sequel trilogy and that the new Daisy Ridley Rey movie is not connected to said trilogy. I know, it won't happen but one can dream

I'll make you a deal. You get the ST retconned, and I'll get the PT retconned as well. We'll then go back to the OT only.
Only someone else will want to alter the deal and retcon ESB and ROTJ as well, so it's not even just ANH left, but 'Star Wars'.

I agree it’s just a dream unfortunately; definitely not happening now with all the connective threads being woven to the ST in the New Republic era.

But I would be okay with using narrative trickery (be it the WBW or something else) to retcon even just the worst choices of TROS.

Some things from the ST can be salvaged but Episode IX does the most active harm to the universe.

They’re already doing BOBF season 2, it’s called Mando season 3. All Din Djarin needs now is a bacta tank, a dressing gown/man diapers, and a tiny Asian woman looking at him disdainfully.

On a serious note, if the newly announced ST Rey film proves anything, it’s that Disney don’t care less about the quality of their output, they only care about the . All the Reylos and Redditors will flock in their millions to watch it regardless. Kenobi the best viewed D+ show to date, garbage quality, guaranteed to milk another season out it.

Wondering when will TCW celebration figs will be dropped, May 4th ? I highly doubt they will continue with ROTJ, it will have to be at least months from the announcements of C3PO and Shaw Vader.

If anything in this world is guaranteed it’s death, taxes and that Hot Toys will drop a bunch of clones on May 4th. I’ll take a guess at ARC troopers Five & Echo 2-pack, 212th, and Wolffe. As much as I want ROTJ that clone line-up would actually excite me. Mando season 3 figures can go take a jump off a very high cliff though.

They’ll take the easier route. It works out for them that she has shorter hair with her armor since that’s the appearance that makes more sense to make a figure of.

Also a not zero percent chance they don’t give us a sculpt at all. But if they do I’d rather have sculpted than rooted hair.
