It is reddit. No surprise there 😀

Seriously, she is a terrible character. Blue alien guy too. They belong on the Orville, not Star Wars. They are the most cringe worthy characters in Star Wars.
Nobody is worse than holdo, the mods in bobf, and the bobf doctor that looked like Rick James.

Unfortunately we’ve said that the last three or four times they’ve appeared on these shows. For a company that’s obsessed with making every Mando trooper imaginable they seem to have a blind spot for TIE Pilots.

I partly blame how poorly the FO TIE Pilot sold but there's no comparison to the original. An OT or RO/Mando/Andor TIE Pilot is long overdue.

Big fan of TIE Fighters and Pilots and they've been getting more prominent screen time but Hot Toys continues to ignore them. Despite making one-off 1:6 scale TIEs for Howard's private collection.

C'mon Hot Toys.

It certainly could be the poor sales of the FO version, I never really thought about that. I always thought that was the best looking of those troopers, the best of a bad bunch.

I suppose the Sideshow version was also very decent. I used to own that one and it’s a very solid figure. My only complaint was it was oversized next to Hot Toys troopers, which stands out as TIE Pilots are on the smaller side.

Oh yeah forgot about the mods. The mayor’s servant in BoBF too. I find none are as relentlessly annoying as Motto though.

Pershing and the weird girl pairing in this new Mando episode were just terrible.

Yeah it was not a bad figure; had a few. Just very limited appeal. But it's been a long time since then so... get on it Hot Toys. Although now they have a new reason to be wary of making troopers. They should just stop making really niche ones.

Can't believe all the trooper variants we've gotten before a TIE Pilot or AT-AT Driver. :lol

I sold the SSC OT TIE Pilot but kept the RO. Like you said, decent figure but size is a bit off. Hoped HT would make one but here we are.

Hmmm, haven't watched the latest new Mando episode yet, but skimming through the comments here and movie section...it seems the prospect bearing a grim outlook. But well, I think I will keep most of Season 2 figures and predominantly concentrate on Clone Wars/PT stuffs from now on.

Maybe they'll release an Andor branded TIE Pilot since they showed up on the Aldhani rebel mission :monkey3

Oh, they totally will do him. In stealth neon tech chrome.

We’d probably get Neon Tech Mickey Mouse before an Andor version.

She looked delighted. It reminded me of my own experience of when I'd once had a few too many to drink and somehow ended up in a Cameroonian Christian revival church in Thailand. They ''accepted'' me into their flock... until I claimed Atheism.
And they let you live only to share this cautionary tale with us ☝️🧐

Meanwhile on the movie side of things another one bites the dust. I’d love to know how much money they’ve wasted on the hiring and firing of directors and other pre-production costs.

Such a shame I’m sure we were all so excited to get more Rey and Finn figures in the collection.

"I will just say, that for reasons that I can't get into on this Sunday morning, on this day, the degree of difficulty is extremely, extremely, extremely high. If it can't be great, it shouldn't exist. That's all I'll say, because I have the same association with it as you do, which is, it's the first movie I saw sitting in my dad's lap, four years old, May of '77. I think it's possible that sometimes when you hold something in such high reverence and esteem, you start to get in the kitchen and you just go, 'Maybe I shouldn't be cooking. Maybe I should just be eating.' We'll just leave it at that point."
